"Zindagi Gulzar Hai...Yaahan Gamo Ko Paalna, Bekaar Hai..." The line and the title track of the serial is well absorbed by all the Indian fans who have either watched the entire 26 episodes on Youtube, courtesy HUM TV or are currently watching it on Zee Zindagi. The best part of the serial is the fact that no matter whoever watches it, falls in love with this Pakistani serial. Why? Well, there are more then one reason!!!

Takes us Back to Those Novel Reading Days

Indian Television serial is watched mainly for entertainment. It is like a bubble gum which we enjoy only till the time we chew. However, Zindagi Gulzar Hai is not which can be compared to any bubble gum soap because, the quality of the serial is paramount. It somehow relates to the classic stories which we read in novels during our school and college days.

Kashaf Murtaza (Sanam Saeed) resembles our strong willed girl which mirrors at least one trait in any average girl just the way, the novel protagonist connected with us back in those days. While Zaroon Junaid(Fawaad Khan) is the typical flamboyant, who despite having hundreds of flaws manages to win our heart.

The Background Vocals of Zaroon and Kashaf while writing their Diary, reconnects us not only with their lives, but our own.

A lot of people over different social media platform like Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus, have expressed that some how they could deeply connect with Zindagi Gulzar Hai, because of the diary entries that the two protagonist covered almost daily.

One of the best aspect of the serial, the diary entries of Zaroon and Kashaf indeed, made us think on various crucial aspects of life including hardships, animosity, jealousy, friendship, faith, trust, chauvinism, sexism and even everyday problems faced by women, especially single mothers.

Fawad Khan

With n number of fan pages on Facebook and Twitter, Fawad Khan is not only a heartthrob of Pakistan now but also a known face in India, at least amongst the active TV viewers. His acting, smile and expressions somehow manages to win the heart of the audiences. No wonder, he is one of the most commercial success actor of the Pakistani TV and film industry.

And I suppose almost all the people who watched Zindagi Gulzar Hai not only loved the so called chauvinist Zaroon Junaid, but also the man who played it flawlessly. I won't be wrong if I say, we the Indian audiences really adore you Fawad.

The Parallel Plot of Opposites - Rich & Poor, Liberal & Orthodox!

The parallel plots of rich and poor has been very much into the Indian Television from long. Unfortunately, it mainly revolves with the rich saas troubling the poor bahu or her family members. Here, not only the plot has been carried out realistically, but also highlights the good and the bad things about both the opposite things. No wonder, there comes a time when the opposite collides into each other when Zaroon decides to marry Kashaf.

The Sibling Relationship

The show depicts the sibling relation really well. No, there isn't any brother or sister conspiring against each other, but a helping brotherin the form of Zaroon and a caring as well as positive sister in the form of Sidrah.

The Title Track by Ali Zafar and The Beautiful Zindagi Khaak Na Thi by Hadiqa...

Zindagi Khaak Na Thi, Khaak Udaa Ke Guzri

Tujh Se Kya Kehte, Tere Paas Jo Aate Guzri

Din Jo Guzra, Toh Kisi Yaad Ki Roh Mai Guzra
Shaam Aayi Toh Koi Khwaab Dikhate Guzri
Tujh Se Kya Kehte, Tere Paas Jo Aate Guzri

Ache Waqtoon, Ki Tamanna Mai Rahi Umar-e-Rawaan
Waqt Aisa Tha Ke Bas Naaz Uthate Guzri
Tujh Se Kya Kehte, Tere Paas Jo Aate Guzri
Zindagi Khaak Na Thi, Khaak Udaa Ke Guzri

Raat Kya Aai Kay Tanhai Kay Sargoshi Main
Ghum Ka Aalam Tha Magar Sunte Sunate Guzri
Tujh Se Kya Kehte, Tere Paas Jo Aate Guzri
Zindagi Khaak Na Thi, Khaak Udaa Ke Guzri

love dthis article.. i agree mostly with all the aspects brought out here ...
The so called ' chauvinistic ' Zaroon is already many girl's desire and no its not because Fawad had the good looking face and he managed to grab female audiences with his good looks, its mostly because the character itself ha dthe charm which Fawad breathed his life into.

The diary entries had to be the bets moments of the show ..

The sibling bonding has to be one of the most adorable aspects of the show, usually in hindi shows the female lead's sister conspires to win the male lead and marry him and male lead's sister wants female lead out of the house.. here both sidra and sara were realistic , sidra being Kashaf's sole mental support plus her guide whereas sara from being the careless, indisciplined, spoilt sister who finds her brother to be her confidence ..

Lastly, Fawad and Sanam, ZGH wouldn't be like this had these two not be Zaroon and Kashaf .. they made me believe that opposites attract, haters turn into lovers, prince charming comes and take shis princess and they end up happily with twin kiddos ..

What works for me is that everything is shown so realistically. Like when dey show Kashaf, her mom and her sisters struggling to make ends meet. Dey show each one contributing and dey all r aware of the sacrifices they r making and the handwork dey r doing and hence do not make unreasonable demands. That's how people wld respond in real life. Not that only one person is doing all the hard work and sacrifice and the burden of the whole family is on her and the hard up family is indifferent towards her struggles and make unreasonable demands!

Also the dairy entries gv us an insight into Zaroon nd Kashaf and makes us empathize with them. And overall it is a very well made show with beautiful dialogues or rather monologues.😆

Who ever wrote this article , rightly described the show . Its simple story of real people living in real world . All relations were defined beautifully , well directed and well written dialogues . Something special where you can identify with characters at some stage .

Amazing article.
This show is gr8 with good story, brilliant direction, superb acting and impacting dialogues.

This show has become craze of mine... I keep watching it on YouTube.
They r right in saying ZGH is not a bubblegum but I personally feel it should have been of at least 50 episodes... Anyways, I am living in a hope to see Sanam & Fawad once again together on screen... **fingers crossed**
