While wrting the title , i was laughing as this show has been the most discussed show and deserves to be . For me it was not a love story but beyond that it had so many issues which it carried with its on going journey .
!st episode ; What a irony ,one side Jaroon says while sitting with Asmara and Osama that luxuries and comforts has spoilt him and other side Kashaf is complaining to God about these two things , she has negative attitude towards life so naturally God has to be her complaint box . Sidra has the positive approach towards life and always smiling , in her own way tries to bring Kashaf out of her complaints box. Its not Kashaf , so many girls out there are like Kashaf who becomes bitter while going through the life like her . Jaroon,s family atmosphere is very natural with siblings nok jhonk and all .
After this show , have watched many other shows which were recommended to me and never is disappointed . Yes ZGH has its own X factor . Have seen Fawad Khan in other shows and he is different in his character . Watched Sanam,s Talkhiyan , She has done amazing job like this one . Both were difficult challenging roles .

When first i watch this shw this was my reaction .

Its such a nice feeling to experience ZGH again. Ah,feels like life has been injected back. Haha.
U know Neerjaa,I watched a lot of shows post ZGH too, liked some of them quite a lot,but none of them have touched me the way ZGH has. Seriously. ZGH will always be special to me.

Zgh has something where people can identify with . Mother Rafia , she reminded me of my mother and when she said mothers are like this only . Nok jhonk of zaroon and Sara , you will find this kind of fights when you grow up . Other shows i have watched have their own substance so can not compare . ZGH is the first one who was like a fresh breath of air where i was totally bored and watching English ones .

I too have watched few others hows after ZGH but still none have made me want to go back and rewatch or even had the impact ZGH has had.
Even now watching the first epi and waiting in anticipation for the first meet of Zaroon and Kashaf tomorrow.
Enjoying the show more the second time around.

Epi 1 was great😃 Loved their contrasting introduction!!! I loved Mansha aka Sidra. looking forward to the epi tomo😳

Though i have watched the show umpteen number of times on YT I still cannot get enough of it. 😳And i had missed the previous telecast on tv so this time im making sure i dont miss it😳
The USP of the show is its simplicity! There is no OTT drama, or for that matter something that is non-realistic. I think each one goes through tough times and some in the process become a Kashaf or a Zaroon. It touches your heart. The portrayal. The story. The actors, Sanam and Fawad and also the entire cast, must say, they did great as an ensemble.

The contrasting stories of Kashaf and Zaroon, the different backgrounds of each of them were explored and shown beautifully. Their journey after marriage, the gradual scenes where the love blossoms is one of my favorite!!

Im glad that Zindagi telecasted this show. I just LOVED every bit of it. I also have to say that this is the first Pak show im watching and i have immense respect for these ppl !! To tell a story and strike a chord with people in just 26 epis is a commendable feat.

Totally agree with you , it was unique drama , directed very well where everyone has the space and importance . This show was really a great jolt . No nonsense in the name of romance

ZGH has every dialogue having some meaning . nothing was over the top . but i do not want to compare ZGH with other shows which i have watched . Dasteen , Talkhiyan , both are different , one is history , other is quite complex and both the shows touched your heart . ZGH has light moments with that some thought provoking dialogues . So i thought why not to go with every episode because first toime it was something out of blue which totally taken us by surprise .

Agree with you , it was simple story but still both Zaroon Kashaf from different background and Kashaf carrying the baggage of inferiority complex , not trusting man and insecure also . I find her to be vulnerable where she hides herself behind this hard shell where none can touch her . Zaroon character is very loving and he is sensible also .

Same is with me . even i had posted a post that if this show was made in Hindi it would have atleast taken years where they completed the almost 16- 17 years journey within 26 episodes with out any nonsense .

I too finally got to watch ZGH on TV, though hv watched it once online. It's a beautifully made show and the characterization is so true to the life dat each character is facing, especially Kashaf and Zaroon. We may not agree to many things dat d 2 main leads do, but at the same time empathize wid dem coz we exactly knw where dey r coming from.

Kashaf is so filled wid resentment coz of d way life has dealt wid her, but it's d same for her sisters and worse for her mom, yet dey r not as pessimistic as Kashaf and dat cld be coz she is much more sensitive and impatient to better her lot in life. Whereas her sisters and mom r more accepting of their lot/ kismet/ naseeb.

On the other hand Zaroon seems to have it all, yet same like Kashaf he is not satisfied wid his life either. He feels dat der's more to life than just the aish-o-aaraam that he has and dat ppl shld strife for more. Ironically both Z nd K hv d same thought nd dat is dat der's more to what life has to offer than their present lot.😆
