Chapter 8

She didn't concentrate on her work. Her mind got fussy on the man sitting next door to her. She was confused why she was even thinking about him. He wanted to act professional then she should also act like wise. She was eager today to come to the office. She couldn't forget the special moment of her life with him, if even she wanted to. He was the first man ever whom she allowed to touch her. Not only that but allowed pecking on her cheek and she didn't even fight back or didn't even run to him to slap. She just stood shocked.

The intercom buzzed. She glanced at it, if she should pick it or not? Is no doubt that he could be on the other side of the phone. The intercom was only to be used by the boss and their secretary. Hesitant, she picked it.

"Yes-yes sir"

He sighed. He was waiting for the sweet voice to be ringed on his ear. He saw the tear that had fell from her eyes while leaving his office. He knew the reason, but he can't change himself for her, No matter what. He is her boss in the office. The mere crush on her would never change him. And he thought she wouldn't want him to be changed.

"Radhika... come" he hung. That was ridiculous. She thought. How dare he just hang the phone without even listening to her reply? She glares at the intercom for a minute when it rang again. She huffed. Holding the file on her hand she marched to his office.

He became restless on his chair waiting for her. Only 5 minute had passed but it felt long enough for him to get frustrated. He didn't know if it was because he neglected her or it was because he felt hurt seeing her tears.

The emotional conflict made him more anger and it didn't helped when his office door slam open. And she marched inside. Her face was contorted in fury. She was as angry as a bull. Her cheeks flushed and her eyes sparkled with ferocity. She stands in front him. Since he was taller than her, she had to look up and her glare made it clear that she was clearly pissed and annoyed. There was a eerie of silence when he thought to break it.

"Did you bring the file?" he asked in a calm voice ignoring her glare. His heart itself got calm only seeing her back with him. His body relaxed on the chair.

"Yes" she spat venom lacing her voice. The anger was overpowering her hurt. And unable to control it she used the voice she never used at him.

"Do you have any problem with me?" he asked, standing, moving over to her, she takes some step back until she hit the wall. He put his hand on either side of her head blocking her way to move. He knew the double meaning behind his question was un- known to her.

"No. I- "she felt her heart beating like a drum, nervousness latching on her every nerve. This man was literally making her crazy. She didn't understand the reason why she felt nervous around him so close to her.

"No?" he asked, looking straight in to her eyes. His one hand brushed her red flush cheek, his thumb circling around it. The physical attraction caused the air around tense. Somehow she knew what was too happened. In her eyes it was wrong. But she wanted it. She needed it. Her eyes closed slowly awaiting for the consequence. She waited for some time, his hot breathe caused her to shiver her spine. She was about to open her eyes when she felt it, His lips on hers.

He brushed his lips to her before deepening it. He was right when he thought it would be smooth but he was wrong about the sour. Her lip was definitely sweet. He moved his lips biting her lower lip demanding an entrance to her mouth. But she denied. She is a tease; he thought and smiled on the kiss. He felt her fist griped tightly his shirt bringing him close to her. Their lips move in syncs. He again asked for the entrance on her mouth but she denied and that's when he realized she had never kissed anyone before. That thought made him snapped out and he quickly pulled back. Both were out of breathing.

She was smiling internally. She had never felt anything like this before. She usually gagged when she sees couples kissing but now she knew how they felt actually. But soon her smile vanished when she heard his word.

"Leave" he said facing his back to her, hands on his pocket.

"What?" she whispers. She hadn't expected this? At least not after the sensual kiss they share before sometime.

"I said leave" he snapped, making her flinch. He turned, she gasped seeing his eyes blood shut in anger. His lips closed in a thin line. She never wanted to see this sight of his again. He could be scary when he wanted. So without any argument she left feeling hurt, heart break and at last used.

Chapter 9

She reached her office and slammed her door disturbing the other workers. The tears flowed down her cheeks and dripped from her chin. She was too sad to cry out or wail. Her heart ached. She felt it would come out any moment and would flip on the floor with someone smashing it on their shoes like he did with her. She clutched her heart painfully. Her tears flowed nonstop. She sat on her chair and wailed for an hour. Her cell phone beeped. She saw Simar's message where she was ordered to return home quickly. Her sister hadn't written any valid reason for it. But she knew if she didn't go now then her sister would make her day hell. It wasn't that she couldn't deny her sister but then again what should she have done rather sitting around wailing out. She thought it was better to go home and see what her sister wanted. Weeping out her tears, she put her bag on her shoulder and walked out of the office without informing her boss but not before giving a leave application to Prem. She reached her house and noticed the chaos around it before she parked her scooter. She got inside to find the hall of her house decorated with flowers and garlands. She was busy in admiring the beauty and bumped into someone and was about to fall when the strong arms pulled her back. She saw the person and a grin spread across her lips. She crushed the person into a tight hug. She was least expecting him right at the moment when she was so confused about her feelings for the boss.

"You came?" she whispered, but it was enough for him to hear. Why wouldn't he come? He had to. After all, his best friends sister was getting married and he knew she would need him at this moment when she would feel lonely.

"Why won't I come? I know you need me" he replied hugging her in a tight grip. She was so glad her best friend was with her, at the more needed moment. And she knew he would never leave her side like him. She thought. What a fool she made of herself by kissing that guy. She should be ashamed of herself. He was only her boss and then again her brother in law's brother. What would her family think of her when they would know what she did with her boss? How could she face them? What about her sister? How would she react when she would find what happened today in her office and what her boss did to her? Would it be right to tell her sister about it? She decided to leave it as it was. The more she would think of it, the more complicated situation it would create for her. And for now, she only wanted to forget about him.

"Radhika!" Rohan shakes his best friend's shoulder to bring her out of the daydream world she was in. He smiled for a while admiring her. She is a beauty. He thought. A curl of her hair falling on her forehead, her chunri was now tied around her waist coming crosswise shaped from her shoulder. Her white flat sleepers with some dirt on it clanged to her feet and the matching purse she had on her shoulder gave her the perfect beauty. He watched her eyes which were a little foggy hiding her original blue orbs. This girl is purely stupid he thought. He shook her again and she came out of her thoughts. She smiled at him and took his hand on her and Rohan smiled seeing the gesturing and feeling her hand on hers. He wanted her hand on him forever. He wanted every part of her with him. He even wanted her soul with him. Unaware of the fact that his best friend's soul had already been taken by someone else. Someone who may or may not wanted her.

Dev threw every file on the floor from his office desk. He throws the flower vase Radhika had kept on his desk with colorful flowers on the mirror which scattered into pieces. He crumpled some papers in his fist to control his anger. He never wanted to do it what he did with her. He was so engrossed into kissing her that he didn't saw the hurt she felt when he had pushed her roughly against the wall. He knew a girl like her couldn't tolerate his roughness. He was an animal inside and around her his animal kicked in and it ravished her wildly without thinking about her innocence. The feelings he had for her could never mean a crush, it was definitely something more than that. He fisted his hand in his hair. Frustrated, he again threw another vase onto the glass window when Prem entered.

"OH MY GOD!" he exclaimed with a surprise voice and reached to Dev not before taking cautious steps from the scattered and broken glasses on the floor. He didn't know what caused his brother's anger but he definitely knew that his anger would last up to two to three days. And if by chance he got angrier for some reason it would last weeks. He took hesitant steps and reached behind his brother. He kept his hand on his shoulder. Dev faced his brother's concerned face. He knew his brother would ask him about his sudden outburst and anger. He never knew why but seeing his brother only calms him a little. He sighed. He couldn't say anything to Prem, he would want him to ignore the feelings he had for is sister-in-law and at the thought of it only made Dev's heart clench with pain. He didn't want her to ignore. He didn't want to ignore the feelings. And also, he didn't want his inner monster of S****l frustration to come out.

"Are you okay Dev?" Prem asked, concern lashing his voice. Forgetting about the reason he was here.

"I am fine. Just, a lot of workloads." Dev replied with a deep sigh. Prem only nods his head but wasn't satisfied with his brother's answer. He knew Dev would tell him later on if not now. And moreover, he had to inform him about his arrival to his office. He told Dev about the celebration in Simar's house. He also informed him about Radhika's leave. Dev only nods his head with a deep sigh. That's what he never wanted. Radhika, to avoid him. But it happened. She left the office without informing him and apparently avoiding him. He made sure to have a talk with her when he would see her.
