Epilogue
Radhika jumped excitedly, she knew it, she was right, she couldn't believe it, she is pregnant. She envisioned herself holding a baby on her lap, playing with the baby. The mere thought overwhelmed her, warmed her heart. She rushed out from the bathroom and went down to give them the news.
She went to the temple in their house and thanked god for happiness, then went towards drawing room where the ladies was gathered. Before she reached the drawing room, she came across Dadi who was coming her way.
"Dadi! Dadi!! " She cheered excitedly while running towards Dadi.
"Aree, kya hua? Itna uchal kyu rahi ho?" She asked.
Radhika held her shoulders and replied "agar aapko main bataungi toh aap bhi khushi ke maari bhangra karenge.."
"Acha? Esi kya baat hai.."
She hugged her tightly while giving the news.
"main maa banane wali hu..aap sabse wade wali dadi banana waale hai!!"
"Kya?? Radhika, tune toh sach mein bahut badi khush kabri di hai..chalo sabko batate hai.."
Dadi took her hand and brought her into drawing room and announced the great news. Everyone beamed with joy and gave congratulations to Radhika.
"Radhika aab tum aapna zyada khyal rakhogi." Vaishali said.
"Haan, aur main tumhare khane pine ka dhyaan rakhungi.." Padma added.
"Aur main tumhe bed mein company dungi.." Mohini chirped in.
"Company??" Radhika asked confusedly.
"kyunki tumhe sab bed mein rest karne ke liye hi kahenge, jaise mujhe Ishaan ke samay kaha tha.."
"Mohini!" Padma scolded.
"maine jhooth toh nahi kaha nah, Ma.." Mohini said.
"Chal, Radhika ke sangat mein reh kar tum bhi badmaash ho gayi ho.."
"Hai rabba, main badmaash yah??" Radhika asked innocently.
"Koi Shak!" all three ladies said altogether.
"Dadi, dekho nah aap hi batayie main badmaash hu?"
Dadi smiled and replied "ab jhooth main bol nahi sakti aur sach tum sunn nahi sakti, tum hi faisla karlo.."
"jao, main nahi baat karti..main jaa rahi hu.."
She turned to go and bumped into the table and nearly lost her balance.
"Radhika!"
"maine kaha tha nah ab tum zyada dhyan rakhogi!" Vaishali scolded.
"agar gir jaati tum, chalo apne kamre mein, ab tum sirf aaram karogi.." Padma said.
"maine kaha tha nah, Radhika, Ma yeh baat zarur karengi!"
"Mohini, tum chalo, chalo mere saath.." Padma said and took Mohini with her.
"Chalo Radhika, main Dev ko call karti hu, who tumhe doctor ke paas le jayega.."
"Nahi, Ma..main unhe khud bataungi, aap koi unhe nahi batayega..ok?"
"acha, ok..ab tum chalogi kamre mein??"
"haan, Radhika main thodi der mein tere paas aati hu.." dadi said.
"nahi aap yahi raheiye..ainvayi meri badmaashi sehni padegi, main badmaash hu nah, toh kyu mere paas ayenge.."
"acha meri maa, tu badmaash nahi hai, ab khush.."
Radhika grinned and gave a peck on her cheek and ran from there.
"aree sambhal ke, yeh ladki bhi nah, toofan ki tarah aati hai, toofan ki tarah jaati hai.."
Vaishali chuckled and said "patni kiski hai, who bhi ek toofan hai.."
"tabhi toh dono ek duje ke liye bane hai..dono natkhat hai, aab bache pata nahi kais eke honge.."
"yeh toh tab pata chalega jab ayenge.."

Radhika grinned excitedly when she saw Dev entering their room, she sat up instantly. Dev approached the bed and sat on it tiredly, his back facing her.
"Kya hua aaj tum soyi nahi?" he asked while removing his shoes.
"aap itni late kyu ho gaye??" she asked.
"woh kuch kaam tha, isliye deri ho gayi..bahut thak gaya hu, yaar.."
"jo main aapko news bataungi na apki thakawat furr ho kar bhag jayegi.."
He glanced at her and asked "konsi news?"
She moved closer to him, wrapped her arms against his neck and rested her chin on his shoulder.
"who news yeh hai ki aap Daddy banana wale hai!"
Dev froze, he couldn't believe it, he is going to be a FATHER, excitement and happiness engulfed his heart. He smiled wide as he pulled her on his lap, his hand supporting her head.
"tum sach keh rahi ho nah?"
"Le, main kyu jhooth bolungi..mai--"
Her sentence broke when his lips crushed against hers, she brushed her fingers against his hair as he hardened the kiss. He released her lips and gazed in her twinkling eyes filled with happiness and love.
"Thank you, sweetie, tumne mujhe zindagi ki sabse badi khushi di hai.." He said tenderly while his thumb caressed her cheek.
"apne bhi mujhe zindagi ki sabse badi khushi di hai.." She replied lovingly.
"I love you.."
"I love you too.." She said before taking his lips in her own.

"Tumhe kya lagta hai, yeh ladka hoga yah ladki??" Dev asked while caressing her big swollen belly. It is her seventh month of pregnancy, everybody took great care of her, especially Dev. He always remained calm with her, even though he felt like killing her whenever she throws tantrums at him, whenever she had mood swings. He constantly gave his support whenever she needed, as much as possible he spends his time with her.
She smiled and brushed her fingers on her belly, then kept her hand on top of his hand.
"hmm..pata nahi par agar ladka hoga toh main chahti hu ki who ek dum hero lage jaise.."
"Main!"
"Nai, jaise Akshay kumar! Aur uska bolne ka style, ek dum Sunny jaise, aur uska attitude--"
"yeh mera beta hi hai nah??"
"Ofcourse."
"toh yeh mere jaise hi hoga, jaisa main hu waise hi mera beta hoga! Sunny ki tarah toh main usse bilkul nahi banauga, har waqt sirf ladkiyon ke saath flirt hi karta rahega, jo dikhi use pata liya.."
"Sunny har kisi ladki ke piche nahi bhagta.."
"Kisi ladki ko chodta bhi nahi..tum toh waise bhi Sunny ki chamchi ho, tum toh uski hi side logi..aur main kya Akshay kumar se kaam hu, itna acha face diya hai bhagwaan ne ladkiyan mujhpe ab bhi maarti hai!"
"haan, aapki waje se toh india ka death rate badhta hai.."
"dekha, maanti ho na apne pati ko..aur agar ladki hui nah, who tumhari tarah toh bilkul nahi hogi, jo sirf ladti hai.."
She opened her mouth and lifted the hand which was on top of his to hit him, but stopped feeling the kick in her belly.
"dekha baby ne kick kiya, who nahi chahta ki uske papa ko koi mare.."
"nai ji, usne mujhe kick nahi kiya aapko kick kiya, kyunki who nahi chahta ki uski mummy ko koi kuch kahe.."
"usne tumhe kick kiya hai, hai na baby?" Dev said while caressing her belly.
"aapko kick kiya hai, chalo baby batao apne papa ko ki tumne unhe kick kiya hai.." Radhika said.
Dev felt the kick, he pursed his lips and looked at Radhika, who gave a triumphant smile then both of them laughed.

Dev shifted his gaze from his file to his three and a half year old son, who came running into the room and hid under the table. He could clearly see him, since the space was wide enough and small size like him can easily fit in. Now what did he do, was the only question that came into his mind.
"RANVEER!!!!!!!!!" Radhika's angry shout came from afar.
Both Dev and his son cringed at Radhika's loud voice, and looked at each other.
"Veer, ab tumne kya kiya?" he asked while narrowing his eyes.
"Papa! Shhhshh.." he said while putting his index finger on his lips.
"Apne Ranveer ko dekha??" Radhika asked while storming in the room.
"Ahh..nahi, ab kya hua?"
"aaj oh munda nai bachda, aaj tah ohdi khair nahi..ik waar--"
Suddenly she heard someone coughing and abruptly stopped, she instantly looked at that direction.
"acha, badi sohni jagah labi chupan di..idhar aa.." Radhika said angrily and approached the table. Before she could reach Ranveer, he came out from the other direction of the table.
"PAPA!!!" he screamed and went to Dev, instantly jumped on his lap while Dev hugged him smilingly.
"aapne jhooth kyu kaha??" Radhika asked Dev.
"arre tum jo talwar lekar kamre mein aa gayi, itne gusse mein, mere bechare bte ko kuch ho jaata toh??" Dev said.
"Bechara hai yeh? Itna shaitan ho gaya hai na, aaj toh yeh bachta nahi.." She said angrily.
"arre kiya kya hai isne?"
"aapne dekha nahi bhuddhe ki tarah khasta rehta hai, upar se ice cream ke tokre bhar bhar ke khata hai--"
"maine thola liya tha.." Ranveer said defensively.
"Chup! Jaanti hu kitni thodi li thi.."
"Radhika, main samajhta hu veer ko.."
"hor bas yahi kami baaki thi, samajhao samajhao, aur bigado isse, jab sir pe chad ke tandav karega na tab pata chalega! Kaunsa aapko raat raat bhar uthna padta hai jab yeh bimmaar hota hai! Problem toh mujhe hoti hai!" She said furiously and went out mumbling in her mouth.
Dev looked at his son and said "dekha, kar diya nah mummy ko naraaz, aur kha ice cream, jab tujhe pata hai ki tujhe zhukam hai toh phir kyu ice cream kha rahe the?"
"maine tholi li thi.." he said softly.
He cupped his cheek and replied "are mere pyare veer, thodi ice cream bhi bahut buri hoti hai, dekho jab tum bimmar hote ho toh tumhe dard hota hai, kya tumhe acha lagta hai?"
He shaked his head and replied "Nai.."
"dekha, jab tumhe acha nahi lagta, toh tumhari mummy ko bhi toh bura lagta hai na, who puri raat tumhare liye apni neend khrab karti hai, kya tumhe acha lagta hai, tum so rahe ho aur tumhari mummy nahi.."
"Nai.."
"isliye mere bache tumhari mummy jo kehti hai who karo, agli baar ice cream bilkul mat khana, jab tum theek ho jaoge main khud tumhe ice cream dunga, apne papa ki baat manoge nah, promise karte ho?" He asked while forwarding his hand.
Ranveer smiled wide and covered his small hand on his big hand then replied "main pwomis kalta hu.."
"Pwomis nahi promise, acha chalo ab mummy ko manane chalte hai.."
"kaithe?"
"yeh toh maine socha nahi, aise kya hai jisse mummy maan jaye.."
Both kept thinking and then both said the same thing at the same time.
"Chocolate!" Dev said.
"Chololet!" Ranveer said.
"chololet nahi hota chocolate hota hai, ab chal mummy zyada der gussa rahegi, utna mushkil ho jayega manana.."

"Bolo ahhh" Radhika said and fed her one year old daughter, Supriya.
Supriya opened her mouth and took the morsel while playing with her new toy. Suddenly something flashed in front of Radhika, she smiled wide as she saw the chocolate. She looked sideways only to find Ranveer holding the chocolate, she remembered that she was angry with him, so ignored him and glanced back at Supriya.
Ranveer hugged Radhika, his small arms encircled her neck as he apologized.
"Soly, mummy..main humetha aapki baat manunga, main tabhi bhi ice cnem nai kaunga, Soly mummy..pleathe maan jao?"
Her anger vanished at his cute apology, how she can remain angry at this cute boy so she smiled and hugged him back.
"koi baat nahi, baby..par agli baar ice cream mat khana jab tum bimaar ho, jo main kahungi waise karna..main tumhari dushmaan thodi nah hu, tumhari bhalai ke liye hi keh rahi hu, veer.." Radhika said while caressing his cheek.
He bobbed his head with a smile, she smiled and kissed his cheek.
"dekha kitni jaldi mummy maan gayi,veer.." Dev said while approaching them.
She glanced up and narrowed her eyes at Dev then replied "main sirf veer baat kar rahi hu, aapse main abhi gussa hu.."
"are maine kya kiya?" Dev asked.
"aapne jhooth bola, aur jhooth bolna buri baat hai, haina veer?"
"Hanji mummy!"
"Oyee, ek toh maine tujhe teri mummy se bachaya upar se tu apni mummy ki side le raha hai.."
"kyunki yeh meli mummy hai!" he replied while hugging Radhika.
"aur main??"
"aap?? Hhhmm, mele Papa!" he said and hugged his legs. Dev lifted him up in his arms and with smile pulled his cheek then spoke "badmaash bacha!"
"Mama.." They heard Supriya's voice as she wiggled her arms, asking them to lift her too. Radhika sensed this and carried her in her arms.
Dev kissed his daughter as Radhika brought her closer to them.
Both Dev and Radhika looked at each other, their eyes sparking with happiness, feeling content with their life. A tear fell from Radhika's eye as she remembered her parents, finally she found her family back. Dev bent down a little and kissed the tear and with his free hand hugged her tightly.
