So I won't talk about any person or persons in particular.

Its just that having gone through the threads right now and having realised what you all are talking about, I can't help but share a few thoughts with you all.

these days, there's absolutely no distinction left in the mind of humans between "physical attraction towards a person of opposite gender" and "love" and this is giving rise to all sorts of unnecessary & ridiculous problems.

Thus, today we find a young couple so much in love that it's professing its love for each other shouting from rooftops, and tomorrow we find they having broken up!!

"Love" neither requires its ostentatious display nor constant physical proximity between lovers to survive or thrive.

In fact, love, provided its love and not lust, is supposed to INCREASE IN LEAPS AND BOUNDS when the lovers are far apart, when they are unable to meet and be together!! Because in such a situation, every person, thing, object, incident, is supposed to remind you of your lover and of her absence from your life, and this merciless feeling of emptiness is supposed to make you love and long for you loved one even more!!

Also, love is supposed to INCREASE with the passage of time, not decrease.

To give an example, though its very inappropraite to give a divine example here, but that's
the only example I can think of right now.

As a devotee of Lord Krishna described his love
for the Lord as "Pratishan Vardhamanam" which means "I'm in love with Lord Krishna for so long, and
its so divine, it keeps increasing with each passing moment!!"

Of course, you'll can say why
bring an example of a devotee and Lord Krishna here, but all I'm trying to say is, if an emotion is truly
"love" then its supposed to increase with time, not decrease.

thus, if an emotion in your
heart which you thought is "love" ended due to physical seperation or simply with the passage of time,
then I daresay that it was anything but love. What was that emotion then?? It's for the person
concerned to ponder over, I better keep quiet.

Goes without
saying that I remain and will always remain a proud Rubina fan for life, and I'll always be grateful to
her for having played Radhika the way she did, and I wish Rubina all happiness in her life.
