The episode begins with Survi talking to Jatin about living together as a family. Right then kartik declares that it isn't possible. They're shocked to hear this when kartik adds further that he is here on the do and it isn't possible that he'd be late. Then he asks about khushi. Survi tells him she's resting in her room. He is about to go there but Jatin stops him and asks where he's going. Kartik says to meet his daughter. He again says that children are God, so it matters less if she is their daughter or his. As Kartik walks towards khushi's room Jatin asks Survi whether she still wants to work with a person like this and would go with him on a site visit. She says yes, and she wants to know what's going on in Kartik's head.
Meanwhile, Kartik meets khushi asks her happily how she's doing. She tells him about feeling weak and all. He assures her she'd be fine by the evening then hands over a modak. He asks her permission to take her mom for a site visit. Khushi says her Jatin will take care of her hence Survi may go. Kartik taunts about Jatin being a handsome, entertaining father which doesn't go well with khushi. They chitchat for a while before his leaving. Coming out of khushi's room, Kartik walks around Survi, who is still looking at khushi's room. He stops suddenly making her bump into him. As she starts to fall, he catches her. They feel awkward.
Later when Kartik drives with survi sitting beside him, he realizes that he isn't taking her to the site. Survi gets angry knowing this and they start arguing again. Kartik receives a call from the police. He asks the police to close Khushi's case as he's realized that the kidnapper was only working for the main mastermind, eyeing Survi angrily. She is shocked and asks him the reason for closing case. He says that he wants to move on in life like she already has.
Reaching the site Survi gets scared seeing a mouse. She almost falls but kartik catches her once again. They stare at each other and recall their past when she had prevented him from tripping about 20yrs ago. Survi wonders if it is actually the site Kartik intended to visit. He has told her of it being an old hotel, owned by his friend, and now he wants to build a complex in the same plot. Kartik takes Survi by her hand wanting to give a tour but she snatches her hand and asks why he's troubling her, doing all this intentionally. Kartik pins her against a pillar. Survi makes futile attempt to escape from him but he keeps coming closer to her. After getting too close for comfort Kartik moves back with his signature uhhhahh' exclaims that she still uses his favorite perfume. Survi is alarmed. She asks why he is doing all this. Kartik says he had slapped her and threw out of the house, so she sought revenge by kidnapping drama and giving shelter to the kidnapper for seven years. Survi is stunned to hear the accusations.
Meanwhile, Rohit and Khushi have a phone conversation where Rohit tells her to come over to his place. She asks Jatin if she can go. Jatin complies to take her.
