Survi is shocked to see Meher's dead mother's pic on the wall, while Meher pretends to her mother on phone. Meher angrily shuts the door on her face. Survi walks out and almost collides into a car, out of which steps an old woman. She asks if she is a friend of meher's and if everything is alright, since she looks tensed. survi gets to know that she is the grandmother and narrates everything to her, also explains her concern for meher. Grandmother asks her not to be tensed, as now she's here and she will handle her. After survi leaves grandma goes inside and finds meher still talking on the phone with her mother. she snatches the phone and tells that her mother died several years ago. meher says that she is lying as she was just speaking to her. Grandma says if she hadn't come, she would have spoiled someone else's life. meher tells her to go away as she always spoils her plan. Grandma says that her brother could pull her out last time from her ruins, but this time, he won't be able to. She asks Meher if she ever thinks once before ruining someone's life. meher says that she isn't going to listen to her and dials a number. granny snatches phone again and throws it away saying that this time she won't let her do anything wrong. Grandma calls her brother and asks to reach soon. meher keeps muttering that kartik is hers. Later in the evening, meher frantically applies makeup, frustrated remembering the intimacy between karvi. She blabbers that survi can't separate them, she'll do something that makes kartik come to her. In the mean time she receives a call and asks how many times has she told him not to disturb her. The person in phone apologises and says that they've been instructed to call her. Meher asks what did he get to know. She smirks hearing what he got.
Survi comes home and sees all sitting in the drawing room. srikant tells kartik about a guy having secured a nice job in the bank. kartik says that he will try too. But survi starts cribbing about how he always jumps into conclusions. they start verbal fighting. Meanwhile srikant proposes that he will find a suitable man for shanti. shanti shyly goes inside. srikant asks for kartik's reaction. He asks what's the hurry. srikant says that there's no problem in seeing the man, and they can get the marriage done whenever they can. kartik says that he feels they are rushing up. However Lata seconds srikant, saying that this is a perfect time for alliance. They decide that they'll call them tonight after dinner.
Later in the evening, kartik and survi have cute romantic moment. He is smitten when he sees survi dressed beautifully for the occasion. Later, the guests come to meet the family. shanti comes to serve tea to the guests and they compliment her on her beauty. kartik and survi keep smiling at each other. Lata asks shanti to serve tea. She does so clumsily. The groom's mother wonders why is she doing everything so slowly. they start chatting. shanti says that she doesn't know to cook. Lata covers it up saying that she's learning. survi says that she's studying so they don't engage her in kitchen works. The groom's father approves, while the mother is unhappy. groom's father says that they should let the prospective groom and bride to discuss in private. Hence they go to a separate room. Kartik grabs survi's hand. she asks him to be conscious of the guests. He starts teasing and hugging her. He says that he wants to have a boyish romance with her. Lata's call interrupt them but he asks her to give his prize first. She leans closer pretending to kiss him, then screams in his ear and runs. He chuckles.
Inside, shanti is unnerved to talk to groom. He asks if she is nervous. She denies. He's a little surprised. survi comes with tea and finds shanti tensed. Groom is tensed to see her drink tea very slowly. After, they come out, he mutters something in to his parents' ears. They looks nervous too. Just then, they hear the sound of local people having a brawl over a petty issue. Hearing the loud noises, shanti gets scared and goes close to lata. The mother observes this behaviour and is highly suspicious. survi accidentally bumps in a table and the noise alarms shanti and she screams. This startles everyone. The family accuses Srikanth for trying to marry a mentally unstable girl to her son. kartik says that she isn't mentally ill, just scared of noises, as what she saw in childhood, has made her petrified. However they leave saying they won't spoil their son's life.
Later, meher comes in Kartik's residence with the groom and his family. All are shocked to see them back. Meher smiles evilly.
Precap: Kartik slaps meher and asks who gave her permission to poke nose in his family matters. He says that he had told her never to step foot inside the house ever again and asks her to get lost. She glares at him.
