why is kartya so useless and is he possibly the worst male lead ever

I am an episode behind so I just finished watching the episode when survi is bitten by a snake. Only god part was when she pushed him lol I thoroughly enjoyed watching that part lol. Bt what is annoying me is his mom and sister are always being hurt and he never knows how can any1 be so useless. I found that scene of Tai hurting his sister(I hope that is who she is she looked abit different) and I am so disgusted when will they ever show this guy ever finding out about what his family is really like and what his precious Tai is like. Well at least he is walking on coal in my episode tomorrow I will enjoy it hopefully the coal triggers off the switch in his brain and he starts using it. I like Karthik a lot more than Kartya when will the stupid cvs of the show make him get an inkling of what is going on.

The anwer is simple; intelligent male leads do not fetch trp's. If male leads are not dumb, gormless and oblivious to all the evil activity that goes on right under their nose then they would be able to sniff out the problems and resolve the issues in a jiffy. Due to this there would be no drama in the show then and the female leads would not be shown suffering emotional torture to rid their families of all danger and problems if their husbands are by their side in their fight and solve the problems for them.

The ignorant dumb male lead/ abla nari female lead are the only way trp aunties will enjoy the show. I find it damn hilarious that this is the same case with jamai raja, the only difference being the roles are reverse and it is the husband always trying to protect his wife and her family. I think that's why jamai raja does so well as people like seeing the roles of the tyaag ki devi patni/ spineless and oblivious husband roles being reversed as there are no shows till date that have actually shown the relationship dynamics between a married couple flipped to show the husband, instead of the wife striving and fighting against all odds for the peace, sanctity and safety of their family.

Are yaar! Even if we were in such situation we would aslo have been just like karthik! Because all these things are happening behind his back till now none of tai's evilness came infront of him according to him tai is like his mother who was his humdard when no one was with him like lata went to coma and survi left him and all! Every single dumb thing he has done he has his one reasons for that! As he is the only person in the whole show who had gone through lot of pain and mental torture for like all most 8 years in such small age and was thinking all that time that the person whom he loved the most have given dhoka to him omg i can't even imagine myself in such state and moreover his character was shown mahaan and what promise means to him in his life so these lso contribute to his dubness somehow! And as tai said in the last episode tha karthik's al happiness is hers and all her sadness is karthik's this what she actually did all these years! There are his own reasons and justifications for the every single thing he did! I don't want make my post soo long by mentioning every thing in detail but there is actually a post made by some new member u better go check u get a clear idea on his dumbness!

And when we talk about shanti and lata its not karthik's fault its actually their own fault as they both had many chances to tell karthik truth but they didn't tell him! Shanti when karthik was sitting right infront of her she kept quite she would have atlest told him what happend even if we think she was scared or threatened by tai she went against tai yesterday to help karvi! And lata is the godess of dumbness i must say when got n wonderful opportunity to tell truth to karthik when she regained conscious she didn't say anything ab aag se khelenge the haath tho jalenge na! All this happened because of her overconfidence nd lata and shanti are in this state because of their own faults! Karthik ko kya sapna aayega ki uske peeche yeh sab horaha hain? Then how can this be his fault! Infact he is the main victim!

u obviously trust that person the most who had been ur supprot system in ur difficult tyms (his childhood)
Though he never bothered abt Lata-SHanti and I hate that abt him , its explainable, coz he thinks that Tai protects them...
