Kuhu gets ignored in the hoopla.
Mishti re-gifts Meenu ke Maa ke kangan to Kuhu saying she is the one who deserves them.
Abir thanks Kuhu saying Bro is the best.
There was/is absoultely no plan, nothing.
KuKu ne manaya toh MishBir maan gaye and went with the surrogacy.

Abir shares his displeasure with Mishti about Kuhu's irresponsible behavior earlier.
Kuhu receives Modeling contract and is very happy but there is a no-pregnancy clause for a year and gets sad thinking about it. She thinks that if she doesn't go through with the pregnancy then Ma won't keep her promise and KuKu won't get anything. But then she thinks that if she is famous then she won't need anything from Ma anyway so she should sign the contract.
MishBir aur their baccha don't figure in her chain of thoughts...

Kunal happens to see the contract and tells Kuhu that he is very proud of her that she got the contract. But it can't be possible with 1 year no-preg clause. Kuhu is dissappointed that she has to let go of her childhood dream for MishBir's dream. Kunal asks her to wait a year and then he will make sure she gets to fulfill her dreams but right now they have forced bhai-bhabhi to accept this surrogacy and they will make sure they fulfill their promise.
Mishti wakes up in the am (not sure what was the point of showing sleeping Abir) and has a monologue about baccha. Gets a little sad thinking that she is not the one who is pregnant. Thinks how this baccha did the impossible and fixed the sisters fight (How much we have discussed about what will it take for the sister to come closer... never in my wildest dreams I had thought it will be surrogacy!!! Anyways, it's still a bandaid, in reality nothing is fixed!)and she won't let anyone come between the 4 of them!
She realizes she has to make breakfast for Kuhu and runs to kitchen.

I am not too fond of guys dressing as girls and get 2nd hand embarrassment but some may enjoy it. Besides it will make the atmosphere light somewhat...

So Surrogacy was the makers plan all along.
They wanted MishBir to be indebted to Kuhu for eternity.
And they wanted to intermingle the two couples with a baccha.
It's sick, but that is what their end goal is for whatever story they must have thought ahead of it...
They tried force-feeding the baccha for 2 months and the execution for the most part was quite thrilling and suspenseful as each day we kept guessing what will happen... but ultimately viewers are not really able to mentally process and accept the quadruple couple with a common baccha in our story... so maybe makers feel stuck that if people can't accept the baccha, they might not be able to accept further story based on that premise... hence they are shutting shop?!
Idk, I have no other rational explanation for the abrupt decision, just trying to make sense of it.
