I think he has some blind spots, but if it's pointed out, he does listen. He still needs time to process it and even after that he's willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. And sometimes he doesn't agree or has his own reasons for continuing to do things his way. The problem is he never explains, so no one sees that clearly. We have to interpret based on actions, and everyone has their own interpretations.

Like you guys were saying, Meenu and her plans end up bringing both couples together one way or another 😆

Oh, that way indirect. Yes. But I actually liked that he spoke to Nishant first. I enjoyed that whole talk Abir gave about Mishti and how she feels about him. And since he already knew how Mishti would behave after she knew the reason, he wanted to give Nishant a heads-up.

But you're also right that he may not have told her the real reason even then. He only did that because he had exhausted all other options (and maasi's mention of her deserving the truth gave him that needed jhatka). I think it was because he felt that it seemed like an excuse and he doesn't like giving excuses (or listening to them).

Haha opposites attract you see , but I do see mishti also overthinks at times , like she assumes abir will be super mad at her if she says anything against baba ....or I don't know I guess everyone in the show overthinks

He does listen, I would say he has an extreme level of patience with everyone around and tries his best to understand them, guess because he was a banjara , he must have spent a good amount of time with different kinds of people so I guess understanding people and giving them time comes naturally to him, he is open to have conversations with everyone except meenu and I don't really blame him for that cuz unka tashan hamesha se hi hai 😆 I agree he never explains at times....

Even I loved the whole nishant - abir convo , and after reading your thoughts I got more clarity on why he choose nishant to be the first one to know the details over mishti 👍🏼 he was giving him time to get along with it I guess , but then abir had to learn, the world is not as trustworthy as mishti is 😛

Yes absolutely , he didn't want to give any excuses to her but in reality that wasn't an excuse, it was mishti's right to know what went wrong between them ....thanks to parul for voicing it out !

I'm not sure BM is the right person to help them in this. For mishti, as a support, sure. But it might actually make things worse between her and kuhu if BM talks to kuhu. Kuhu needs someone to hear her out and she will only talk to someone who she feels will at least try to understand her pov and that is not BM. I'm wondering what and who would really help solve the problems between the sisters. If I find the time to write, I'll make a separate thread to discuss this.

Yes in regards to kuhu, mishti had always adopted that indirect approach only , tried to solve the issues on her level as much as she can , I see it as ...she feels that if two people can solve the matters on their own then what's better than that like their ceasefire thing but clearly after so many attempts, mishti has understood that she has involve a 3rd person now and who better than abir who has always understood her , but since abir is so busy in meenu ka plan roko mission that he is not able to realise the kind of help that mishti is actually seeking for!

Definitely, BM's involvement would spoil the things I agree, first I thought abir would solve the issues there but now I don't know , chalo you make a separate thread, will discuss the rest there ...

This can be easily implemented. They can make the Abir Mishti scenes that were shown before the lockdown ended a dream sequence. Post which they can show Abir doesn't manage to contact Mishti. They can make the lockdown happen in the YRHPK world and Mishti chooses to isolate with the Maheshweris and Abir is heartbroken and pining for Mishti but she is focusing all her attention on her BM and BP. Abir can try to appease her over the phone and through video calls.
