Kuhu's character a prop?

This topic might generate a lot of discussion but just wanted to get your opinions on something I've been thinking of lately.

Post leap and until the Nannu track Kuhu and Kunal had a separate story, a story with lots of scope. Dhoke se shaadi, adamant pati, bechari patni, divorce, emotionless patni, redemption ke path pe pati. And then post Nannu, there was a total shift from what Kuhu was before and what she has become. Constant competition with Mishti, her traits and characteristics taking a U-turn and not able to enjoy the second chance at her fairytale.

Forget about Kunal and Kuhu's story they are not even shown talking something together about themselves, the past or the future. And now Kuhu is badmouthing Mishti in front of Abir while Mishti is watching it from behind. This is so typical of ITV that such scenes are used to create misunderstandings between the lead couple. If Mishti goes away and then Abir starts defending her then I think Kuhu is just being used as a prop for creating a story for the leads. There hasn't been a story for Kuhu and Kunal at all We've been fooled and how!

If this was the intent then why isn't her character like Jas or Maami? Why was she shown in a way where some of us fell in love with the layered, flawed and realistic character?

It really hurts being a fan of a character that is being butchered. KuKurians.. sorry if this post hurts your sentiments but I do feel bad as well..

my take on current plot:

after watching last 2 episodes I am hopeful for kuhu, kuku, mishku story & the overall show again now

see from where I see it, its time for mishku bond to take centrestage now

meenu's plan is to prove that these 2 girls are not right for her sons, if we go by the cliche itv standards it would have been that in the plan to divide the 2 sisters her own sons part ways, but I am glad that this show is taking different route

so instead it will be something like, meenu will end up uniting the sisters & healing their bond and her plan of using mishku as pawns will backfire by destiny, destiny will use abhinal as pawns to heal the sis bond & unite them

and now that after holi everyone knows that mishku actually love & care for each other but act as if they hate & despise each other, so its time for their insecurities & wounds that make them behave like that with each other to heal

infact now even our question that why maheshwaris never worked on addressing mishku issues is also answered because it was not meant to be healed by them

It’s very evident that Kuhu and Kunal are sidelined .Kuhu married Kunal without his redemption only because they wanted to create Devrani Jethani drama .

Can we find a better name than KuKurians? It kind of feels like we're fans of Kurkure. Well, that just might be because Kunal and Kuhu are just there for adding masala to the story now.

To say I am disappointed would be an understatement but you already know that. I'll share my views on the rest of the points you mentioned in some time.
