if you remember abir has been practiced to give in n sacrifice for kunal like he mentioned in mumbai confrontation, meenu taunts him for everything he does never appreciated him for anything... family they cant speak anything.. its actually a mix of his surrounding people influence n his own nature of being so forgiving.. he has been the mentor n guide to everyone but there is no such person for him... until he himself express his pain no one can even read him or understand him except for mishti..

You know Abir was overweight when he was a kid. Maybe it could have skewed his thinking. Kids are brutal when it comes to looks. And his non alpha personality might have made others to not take him seriously. Maybe thats why he has a thought process different from his family. Years of being ridiculed and considering him as a non entity by others has made him a little more empathetic to other's pain. Abandoned by his Baba and his mother not understanding him has made him feel alone in his family. He learnt to keep his pain to himself because he considered his pain to be less than other's pain. Gradually he learnt to acknowledge that he is worth it but there is a difference between knowing and believing. Mish made him believe it.

When he met Mishti he met a kindred soul. Mish with her height problems and Abir with his weight problems and both of them with their shitload of abandonment issues/lack of self worth made a perfect pair.

Haan you are right Abir taught Mish about self worth but he taught Kuhu about self respect. There is a difference. Because Mish doesn't lack self respect and Kuhu doesn't consider herself worthless except when she throws random self pity parties.

Ha Diya..he craves for mother's love yaar..he has always suffered ..he had gone through many hardships ...and he deserves all the love yàar..and his happiness is deeply linked with Mish..no one knows that...no one even realises that..he is the jumpy joy around everyone but around Mish,he is that little vulnerable boy whose parents never cared for him..and Mishti is not any less..she always tries to fulfill his needs and loves and cares him in many ways...in bp Abir KBC Abir told that he will make Mishti ziddi and he will love her so much that she won't have the fear of him going away..but Abir has become ziddi in his love for Mish .that's adorable and very good to watch..❤️❤️
