I loved the Mishbir conversation Shona. I didn't know you followed YRKKH before or did you do your homework for this? You even got the "bhaiyyu" for Naksh right.
I always knew where Kuhu's immense dislike for Mish and her spite came from. Being annoyed with a roommate that constantly cried or the one that took away the attention she craved for from her grandparents. All that I already understood and of course I could excuse her for. Which child doesn't get affected by another intruding her life like that? But the makers took it too far by creating a bully out of Kuhu. What Kuhu does is not as simple as just a kid being jealous or spiteful. She's a fully grown-up adult now. She constantly and deliberately taunts and hurls abuses at Mishti knowing fully well she gets hurt by it. Especially when she gets jealous over Mishti actually achieving something that is worth being praised for. This isn't a simple sibling rivalry or jealousy. Kuhu needs help. This has gone way beyond fixing. She can't stand Mishti getting anything better than her and that's seriously alarming. If this were real life, I would have definitely asked this person to get mental help. Mishti doesn't deserve that kind of punishment all her life for just being a kid who lost her parents. This is why it's hard for me to feel anything close to sympathy for the spoilt brat that Kuhu is. I won't and will never forgive her for what she turned Mish into after being her best friend. I can't forgive her until she redeems herself truly and completely. Right now, I don't feel anything but dislike for that character. I have seen up and close what Verbal abuse does to people and I cannot and will not take it lightly on the show or anywhere else for that matter.
So no, I'm not forgiving that character anytime soon and refuse to forgive her for any reason she might have to dislike Mishti. Disliking or hating someone is completely okay. What isn't is abusing them on a daily basis which is what Kuhu's biggest offense has been till date. Not even that Dahi handi incident comes close to how awful she's been with the constant and deliberate abuse she hurls at the girl who wishes nothing but the best for her and that family.
OMG so sorry, this is just how strongly I feel for the issue so forgive me for going so far off topic.
The way Abir ensured he got Kuhu to apologize for what she said to Mishti by bringing the truth in front of her was nicely done and I really liked reading that part. I liked how you brought up the issues that might have caused Kuhu to grow tired of Mishti as well, including Jasmeet. That was nicely done as well. I liked reading it so thank you for writing it Shona. š¤
