Hey bhagwaan...U just reminded me of Ishwari. here i am struggling with Big Ben. I feel pity for Shaheer, every time he gets a mother who is obsessed with her son.😆

Yes, I do feel that Miss Bose is one of the strongest female leads that I have ever seen.

Haha! But I still feel Ishwari was much more milder and convincing in her portrayal of an obsessive mother than Meenu is. Meenakshi's actions go above my head sometimes.🤪 I hope they bring in plots in future to help us as audiences understand the reason behind her unpredictable behaviour.

Ishwari was mild but Dev was also very devoted to the sacrifices of his Mother. At times that was really tiring to watch. Here we know Meenu is cunning and the fact that her dynamic with Abir is strained makes it much more tolerable for me atleast 😆

I started watching this show because of Shaheer. I have seen his previous show KRPKYB and became his fan. He is an actor with amazing skills and can emote very well and become the character which he plays. He is doing a marvelous job in YRHPK too. Now, about YRHPK, this show portrays what Indian women are going through on a daily basis and how they are influenced by others decisions. For some us this may be new coz the way we were brought up we can take our own decisions. But this is not the scenario across India infact women who can take their own decisions may be very few.

The casting of the show is perfect done with all the actors playing their role really well.

I am so glad that Shaheer's character is so positive and he is supportive of women making their own decisions. Be it Ketki or Mishti, he has always insisted that they do what they want. Unlike other serial hero's who manhandles women and pulls them, pins them to the wall.

Overall I like this show and Kudos to the whole team.

He was a dedicated son , brother just like Abir and there was a reason why he had so much regards for his mom .His Mom was not Meenu who plotted and manipulated people .She was insecure but later she overcame that .

The only similarity between Kunal and Dev is they are business man but almost every ITV hero is a business man . The relationship between Kunal Meenu is not same as Dev Ishwari

Respect ur views, but i dont agree with you totally. In KRPKAB,Dev was never a feminist. If u remember after leap he used to taunt Sona for being a feminist who broke his house. Also Dev was never a strong character like Abeer. He left Sona, coz his mom didnt like her. Again he accepted her coz his mom was ok with her. After marriage all the problems occurred becoz of his inability to make a balance between his wife n his over possessive mother.

But here Abeer is a very strong character. He always supports to the right thing. He wants to empower women, but he goes against his mother if she is wrong. I am sure when his father's story will come out ,he will support him against his mother's wish.

Forget about all these. At the end we all are proud Shaheer's fans.

I will have to completely disagree with you here . No offense meant . I don’t think many understood Dev ..you just talking about feminist taunt but you don’t remember how supportive he was of Sonakshi at every step be it sacrificing his career to make hers or encouraging her at every step . He did not consider her a baby making machine and respected her as a women .He did not once blame the FL when she hid his daughter from him and the list goes on .He was a true feminist in Every sense .

Here we are comparing him to Kunal who judges a girl based on her glasses to a man who never considered her any less of a women when she had fertilily problems . Here we are comparing him to Kunal who discouraged a his would be wife /sister to work to someone who gave up on his career for his wife and encouraged his sister to have a career of her own .

He broke with her for his mom but again there was a reason for it . He realized his mistake and made up for it .He is not perfect but someone who can admit his weakness , mistake and can apologize for it . Let’s not forget if he broke with her for his mom then the FL left him because of her dad and only came back after her dad approves . Why don’t we talk about that but only highlight what Dev did . At the later stage Sonakshi was not a strong character but a hypocrite who had different rules for her family and for her husband . She was unhappy that her opinion was not given importance in Neha’s matter while she herself was happily hiding her brother’s issue from her husband or starting new business without letting her husband know . In many ways Sonakshi was a psudeo feminist who didn’t believe in equality but considered herself better than men . His taunt was more towards her thinking .

I am happy Mishti is not shown to be like Sonakshi Bose one of the most hypocrite character of ITV .i would like to rest my case here

Can we please not discuss about KRPKAB or Dev . I respect you have some opinion of him but discussing now doesn’t make senses especially in a different show .

@Bold - so sick of it tbh. No concept of personal space with those so called heroes. Lashing out because of not agreeing with something
