God knows (or may be even he doesn’t) what timeline does this show follow!! How long has it been since delivery? I think 2 months atleast.

Keeping maternity leave aside, because women should be able to take time off they need for themselves and their children, it is their right, so if they she feels 2 months is enough or 1 year, it should be their decision given what facilities and legal rights they have. And honestly in many countries, women have fought for this right, so definitely use it as best you see fit.

Having said that, I don’t think Poddars or Armaan should try and guilt trip Abheera in not even going out for couple of hours on her own for work or otherwise. If she has recovered physically, Armaan should be able to take care of baby. Anyways she isn’t breastfeeding, and even if she was breastfeeding she can always express i.e pump breast milk and leave it fridge for use later in the day. Mother’s well being is important too, if she needs some space and time on her own, family needs to support her, not make her feel guilty that she isn’t taking care of the baby. And why should only moms take all the responsibility of the baby care?? Fathers should be equally be responsible and capable!!

I think paternity leave is for 2 weeks only. But Armaan ki ghar ki firm hai kitne bhi din ki le.

In UK, father or your legal partner ( they say partner because there are same gender couples too having babies thru IVF) can avail shared maternity leave, in addition to 2 week paternity leave that fathers get. So if mum decides to go back to work say 3 months after, dad can avail rest of 9 months of shared maternity/paternity leave.

Agreed.

But the client coming in her dream and behaving as if its the doomsday and there's no other lawyer than Abheera who can fight her case?? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Is a bit too much.

.what you're saying is very logical but be it fiction or real , the truth is thT a new mother is made to feel guilty about literally everything..whatever they do and what they don't do ..there's no fixed way of parenting ..eahx mother and child are different ...their experiences are different..in India the elders press for some stuff which youngsters don't agree to..outside India may be it's the doctors..

As a new mother & father it's natural to panic about simple colic & burps .but elders know how to deal with small issues without medication.. Elders do make a big deal about mother's feed & it's proven scientifically to be better (although not all mothers can , including me ) ..some think it's best to massage a new born , doctor says it not ok to massage ..elders don't like the nanny concept, youngsters can't do without nanies , those who can afford them do it..after delivery the body is very weak so it's good to keep warm, have light fluids If coz mother eats heavy food , the child gets colic ..it's so so important to rest for 2 months at least coz the weakness at that time troubles a lot in old age ..

So this guilty tripping also every mother goes through..it's nothing to fuss about..it's a learning experience for all

This is so good to know. I hope same pattern is followed in India. But hiring a nanny is affordable and extended family is supportive so things are bit easier here.
