I think its growth. She still speaks up for what she believes in but is trying to be less brash about it because she is learning how to fit into a joint family.

She's definitely not egotistical.

She is doing her best to ensure Armaan never had to choose between her and his family because she has seen how much he values them.

Spoiler seh kuch nahi samjha. Why do they keep saying kidnapped if she's at PH talking to Kaveri? And how come none of the family peeps going to join in wedding festivities helped Ab get ready and go to venue. If VM, chachi etc are supporting shaadi and attending wedding, surely they would want to help the bride get ready.

Looks like Kaveri is gonna pretend to give wholehearted approval. Ig her hope is that if she shows that she caved for everyone's happiness, everyone will be pro Kaveri again and as soon as Abhira becomes bahu she will trap Ab in some issue and turn everyone against her :(

But hopefully Armaan will remain her dhaal like he is right now.
