Armaans realisation is a major track itself. Firstly he has to realise he loves abhira and he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.. they lived together for 10 months..and the feelings developed then..but the tag of zimmedari and deal marriage prevented them, from realising how they truly felt about each other ..So after Armaan realises this..he also needs to realise the unhealthy relationship he has with dadisa and vidya. Armaan feels indebted to,these two,women..so he always goes about doing everything they want him to,do..because he feels they gave him a place in podaars house…which is actually totally wrong. Armaans birthright gave him a place in podaars house..just like his father before him. He belongs in that house..not because vidya or dadi took pity on him..that is his fathers house and it’s his birthright to live there. And thirdly he also needs to realise that he can’t t go about pleasing everybody and agreeing to everything everybody says,.he also needs to listen to his heart and seek his own happiness..and this is going to take place in 2 days..sangeet night, and haldi/wedding day..so I think sangeet night will be like 2 or 3 episodes…
he may realize feelings for Abhira but his realization of how he has been given stepson treatment since childhood and to outgrow the indebted feeling he has towards family- that will take time
Its too ingrained in him.
infact he has internalized it so much he thinks its justified that they all think he is somehow "illegitimate" and they still accepted him. so for him validation from family trumps everything else
interestingly he always mentions that Abhira is his zimmedari which makes Abhira feel bad but he doesnt have the extreme guilt and obligatory feeling towards her that he has towards everyone else despite her being his zimmedari.
He is unconsciously doing to Abhira what his family did to him- treat as a punching bag
