If people are watching it inemd overs of ipl with 1.8 trp than calculation and common sense says trps would go up after ipl ends.....

So need to fall below 1.5

And requirement is of 2+

So sitara would not give a thought to off-air..

If rishta's trp fell below 1.4 and remain stangnant for 1 month,they will off-air it also at 3rd position..

Sitara we are talking about..

They are their own competition

Actually its marketting..

They get advertisements not as ler slots like top 5 or top or top 3..

Its as per trps

Becoz they determine reach to audience and big brands give advertisements to channels when they think that certain reach is being achieved in thatparticualr slot otherwise they would not air it on entertainment channels as right now news channes have more trp..

Sp to get that certain reach,there is marking of trps..

Earlier it used to be 7+..

But since web and all....

Itbecome according to slots..

So for every channel as per brand requirement it is as Imentioned earlier...

I seriously forgot but I listened ivof some star management person interview last year where he explained this...

Mujhe bilkul yaad nhi aa raha but ge said some like this...

And I am thinking maybe with imcreasing craze for ott platforms maybe that number would have decreased now....
