Rohit is very hit or miss right now as an actor. He still needs to hit the proper sur consistently. He is missing some intensity. I like that he's restrained like Armaan is supposed to be but some X factor, some magic is still missing. I think he's done some good scenes- like his emo breakdown after Krish gifts him followed by hug, kiss. That was good. He is doing nok jhok reasonably well too in bits and pieces. But his softness, adoration and evolving pyaar for Abhira is still really stiff and superficial.

Like in the scene where shes force feeding him , he should have cracked a smile. They both should have fed each other by the end without even realizing it. Or they could have added a small touch of him appreciating the food she made saying simple hai but tasty hai.

Also we really need to see him lose his cool with Ruhi instesd of placating her when she's got so much audacity. If he is offering justification or consolation instead of getting angry at her overstepping, we will detach from him.

He is stiff and blinks a bit too much.. plus he needs to look at Ab a bit more lovingly. Weird thing is : I feel he is a tad bit softer towards Roohi. Not sure if true. New armaan ne gaze style badal diya. And DKP does nothing to add softness in the scene. Even if a pet stays with you for 6 months you develop soft feelings for them.. this is Abhira for God’s sake… 😣😣😣

I agree about stiff bit. But i think the only good thing is he is equally stiff with both. It would make it unbelievably more cringe if he started to do lovey eyes for Ruhi but not Abhira.

I am not understanding why he doesn't look angry or irritated in precap. I really hope he will show anger at her audacity instead of doing something stupid.

I did not find him stiff today, except for his monologue scene. It felt like he was just saying dialogue without any emotion. The nok jhok scene was really nice.

But Rohit really really needs to work on romantic scenes, he has to show some emotions about getting affected by Abhira's closeness. I do not think the directors are asking him to not give those hearty eyes, i think it is his misunderstanding of the character or he is not able to emote which is surprising because he has played a very vulnerable character in Dhadkan.

and please director isko glycerine do, old Armaan ke pocket mein glycerine rehti thi, Rohit ko kabhi kabhi toh dedo.

Thanks for the tag. Yessss i meant that. I mean how can you stay normal with such a ckt ? It seemed to me almost as if he is not angry at all by her antics.. if it was Abhira he would have been MAD and it would be unfair…
