He gets worked up for Ruhi even if she sneezes and with Abhira didn’t see much when she was practically molested and man handled by a man in his absence . I liked the episode ,even AA scenes ,I wouldn’t have liked if they have fell for each other already but here am seeing it as their journey together ..they have come a long way…and long way to go. I don’t ship AA yet , I don’t hate Armaan ,he is good as a person to hate.
I don’t expect him to completely avoid Ruhi , 2 min Maggie hi sahi they had infatuation ,love , if Rohit is still around it would’ve been completely different and am sure he would have stayed in his boundaries but now he feels it as his responsibility ,ha also have guilt but it’s goes overboard sometimes which makes the things look disgusting. Am no way justifying Armaan’s actions here … But AA don’t love each other so he is not cheating her either except that he is not revealing the truth. As long as Abhira don’t love Armaan before the mess gets cleaned up …am ok with the story.
May be this is the only ITV show am following right now so POV could be different and I completely understand what u r saying .

He danced with Ruhi and almost forgot about Abhira who was his +1 to the event until the music stopped and applause broke him out of his close dance with Ruhi. He didnt reprimand Ruhi when she insensitively told Abhira about how Armaan was trying to convince people to be nice to Abhira as if its a task to be accomplished. He did not thank Abhira for apologizing to Ruhi keeping her self respect aside instead he's still making excuses for Ruhis bad behavior. So he's too much of a flip flopper.

Yes he is developing a friendship and understanding Abhira better than before but he hasn't done so at the cost of cutting off Ruhi. He's not doing that at the cost of realizing the differences between the two women and realizing how Abhira is a better person and better suited for him. She lets him be childish, fight over things, cry without inhibitions and does not guilt trip him while dropping truth bombs. Yet he is more easily manipulated by Ruhis tropes than Abhiras earnestness.

It takes Abhira almost getting molested to get a strong reaction out of him but he gives same reaction to Ruhi having minor flu like symptoms or getting a tiny scratch froma bangle.

He's got an independent "friends" thing going with both women which is essentially a pendulum behavior.

I think perspective matters. How I interpret things is very different from yours. So I think my explanation wouldn't make any difference. At this point let us just agree to disagree

yeah dont expect you to agree. but my perspective is that its immaterial whether he cares for Abhira or not. more than watching him bond with Abhira, I want him to focus on cutting off from Ruhi. His first priority should be to nip that in the bud. there are enough people in his house and her own to care for her and he doesnt need to run behind her or be at her beck and call and allow her to guilt trip him. Until he cannot actually enforce boundaries, he cannot be trusted as someone who is sincere and a man of his word.
