I don't like how they have made rishta so toxic since gen3. Abhinav-Akshara plotline was the only time it felt like a real rishta. In this gen those couple of episodes when abhira visited goenka house were the best. Now we are served same episodes every day

Chavannis were equally vile and toxic. They didn't include FL in functions because they wanted too. But ML's mother made sure she was part of the family. And she did it solely for her son's happiness. Rest of the useless bunch insulted her and made faces seeing her. It is better not to be part of such toxicity. I just said unlike here at least ML's mother, Mausi, her devar, ML's sister even after not being fit. They used to stand by her from day 1.

Also ML was supportive in starting few months. Later he is in list of most toxic MLs that is another thing.

But here no one even shows humanity. Here whole lot is toxic and going on parvarish in every by every other character.

Also seeing that abusive guy who was abusing his wife (I don't remember wht he was called) is another criminal. No one knows what more criminals we are seeing.

I am just saying even if they are going Ganja way there was no need for sister being sautan, and being toxic from starting that too everyday, with not even basic humanity being shown to FL.

You said "I think even C were better than these Poddars." My post was in reply to that. Both are equally vile and toxic. Here also, FL gets selective support like in Ghum. ML's mother supported her because she thought FL better for her son. BIL had no voice, just like the cousins have no voice. Difference is, Chavannis deliberately came up with excuses and taunts to hurt FL. While Poddars insult her when they think she's interfering in their family matters or did something against them. And ML in Ghum also said marrying the FL was the biggest mistake of his life. That he lost his pyari cheez because of her etc. He could support her there because he was golden Chavanni boy. They actually listened to him. Here the ML has no such advantage. Guy cannot even stand up for himself, let alone anyone else. There was no need to go Ghum way in the first place. They could have still started a love triangle and conflicts without all that.
