I think it is.. I read in the forum that Akshara is going to die. May be due to some antics by yuvraj ( mla son) and since she is Armaan's teacher, she will insist that Armaan take care of Abhira and he will be forced to marry her to keep his word with Akshara. Similar to virat marrying sai

So I guess it is similar to ghum.
