Hehe...the news of the pregnancy was the last straw or the saturation point for this mess. Till then everyone was just enduring akshara for abhir.

Manjari hasn't been very fond of akshara , she wanted abhimanyu and akshara to marry because after abhinav's death , abhimanyu could easily bond with abhir without any threat of outsider interfering and akshara would be too busy with abhir to think of ex abhinav. Contrastingly with the later news of pregnancy, it became evident that not only akshara would constantly remember abhinav but also abhimanyu too will be stucked in a loveless marriage with another man's child.

Abhimanyu could have bonded with Abhir even without marrying Akshara, heck he could have bonded with him even when Abhinav was alive, this marriage was only important because Manjari felt her son deserves it ,it was only about her son and no one else ,not even Abhir .If she would have cared for Abhir even an ounce, today she wouldnot be having any problems with marriage.

Akshara has always been clear about her stand ,before the pregnancy news she promised to try to be a good wife but Didnot say she loves Abhimanyu, today also she is saying the same.
