Krishna won't suit the bill.... Lol... If they do need some backup, khoon ka rishta could be Singhaniya. Naksh ka beta, maybe Keesh named her Kaira🤣 or Naira... So that character can instantly replace Akshara ka journey... But still Birlas will never be an ideal Rishta family.

I agree with Uma and Indira. Goenkas were bad but they had that pyaar wale rishte among each other. Yaar that generation had literally happily married couples other than Lead couple... Yahan toh leads bhi couple nai hai... They are worst than side couples...

So, this generation definitely needs revamp and it can only be done via khoon ka rishta urf Naksh ki beti.

No, Krishna was adopted daughter of Kaira. Makers wanted to make her lead, but then unka dimaag koi aur direction mein chala gaya.

They were planning to make Krishna - Kaira, eldest/first child of Kartik-Naira. She was assumed to been miscarried. Hence Kartik took away Keerti and Naksh ka beta (Krish) secretly claiming him to be their kid to save Naira from stress.

But unlike Kekta show, they revealed it sooner and Krish went back to bio parents. But soon Krishna entered. Kaira adopted her. She added some spice to little Kairav's life as adopted sister to make him insecure (typical). They were going to make Krishna their Bio child but I recently learnt before leap they had left track proving that Kaira was indeed dead after child trafficking stunt by nurse and Krishna was phased out to make way for Akshara as lead.

Par Sej yeh same PH, Maa mei adopted beti ke upar episodes pe episodes banaye ja raha hai 😂

And effectively, this gen too they've strongly emphasized Abhinav being a better parent than Abhimanyu and how parvarish matters way more than blood with those heavy dialogues given to all. Even Abhimanyu himself acknowledged this.
