MyThought- Epi 1000

Nothing new in the episode, it is just extended pre- cap. Sequence of missed opportunities, ill- fate, missunderstandings. There is lot of inconsistency, in the way things are executed. In the era of smarphones, no one calling no one. That looks so funny and unbelievable. A lot of BIRLA HOUSE drama and I think that is going to be the case in all the upcoming tracks. Even if part of us wants to watch the sukoon bhara Kasauli, love- hate relationship with the high-pitched dramas, and makers know that.

Shefali: I think most people in B-house are double faced. They hv certain views when it comes their own life and another when it comes to other family member. MJ was on side of Shefali, but snatched Abhir from his mother. Shefali was fighting with Parth and said ( same as AK) that Birla house is too toxic to raise children, but supported AbhiM (never resisted) during custody battle (served him herbal tea). She hated Parth for being abusive, but sides, is empathetic with AbhiM ( who has abused his wife, snatched son from a mother) just because he sided with her against parth. Even that is selfish.

AK- Abhir- AbhiN: AK has lost her mind completely. I even felt that she forgot AbhiN for a moment, but she did not. As I hv said before, AbhiN is not just only going to die, but imprints of his existence are getting wiped off. There is least mention of him overall.I am happy that makers can't delete old episodes of the serial. The way track is going, it looks like only old episodes are going to be the evidence that someone called AbhiN existed.

Suddenly AK became most loved person for Abhir, when it was his papa ara who was सबकुछ for him. AK- Abhir scenes were few but very beautiful (The story telling sequence and them studying together were my favourites). However, today's AK- Abhir sequence lacked chemistry. It did not create the impact. I think AbhiN's exit was not planned, the sudden focus on AK- Abhir looks forced, almost as if AK is a single mother, as if it was only AK who did everything for Abhir with AbhiN just taking their videos. If AK- Abhir bond was of so much importance, they could have shown AK as a single mother, just like her mother Naira. From Abhir dreaming about loosing AbhiN, and panicking, asking the promise that he would never leave him, this looks like a downfall. Not characterwise, but from POV of storyline.

AbhiN is also loosing himself seeing AK in this condition. If they show repeat of the delivery scene, that would be a good circling around and closure of the AK-AbhiN chapter. For me, it would be beautiful story, if AbhiN is forgotten by everyone including AK except Abhir. AbhiN never did anything for people to remember him.

I always say, even if we do not realize it, story is the main lead. A well written plot, wins even with average actors and a poor story looses even with fabulous actors. The Kasauli track clicked with many as it was beautifully written which is lacking right now. Killing someone ( may it be, Anisha, Neil or AbhiN) can give you few episodes of high TRP, but if it is not followed by good storyline, it falls on the face. Pre and post Anisha's death plot was not greatly executed as per me and hence makers had go with the leap.

Now, some random thoughts:

Right yet wrong and wrong yet right:

A story was sold, the story (or perceived) that even in angst, yelling, through separation, divorces AK-AbhiM long only for each other, belong to each other, are predestined lovers. Even character (surekha chachi) has said that AK- AbhiM have intense chemistry, and are inseparable couple. When AbhiM's accident track happened, the way AK ran towards AbhiM, I was in two minds. One that in heart of her hearts AK just loves AbhiM, and she is with AbhiN only for the sukoon that he gives her. That is the time I had felt that AK should just let AbhiN go, as it was injustice with him and herself too. Secondly, I felt that AK is in the process of moving on. She has some leftover feelings for AbhiM, but has got attached to AbhiN too. Makers decided to go with second option after that. AK moved on and confessed her love for AbhiN.

RS has said, the death track is going to get followed by intense romance track. If true, possibility is that they wil go 'Dil ka Rishta plot' way, where AK looses her memory for ever remembering only Abhira, who knows?

Abhira is a teenage/ young adult love story where hormones, passions, emotions are high. That is how it was written, keeping a certain audience in mind. Making AbhiN enter was a drastic, yet smart move.

Having said that, a completely mature love story in daily soaps with years long duration is difficult to execute. Where the drama will come from? The relationship of AK- AbhiN looked beautiful on background of Abhira and now, Abhira will look beautiful for its viewers on the background of bland, one- dimensional love (as per some) story of AK- AbhiN. However, the story should be well- written to make any ship worth watching.

I personally also in favour of soul love but the problem in yrkkh that I cannot categorize as a soul love story after AbhiM's treatment on wd and mainly his stance for the 7 months that followed. His geting angry on WD was acceptable based on the situation but not what he did the 7 months following it. You cannot just forget the love of your life and leave her on the street (filled with wolves) for such extended period of time and just not care.And even after 6 more years where is the sign of repentance? And then top it off with the pain on snatching the kid who was the reason of existence for post leap Ak's life.

There are many soul love classic stories written by Bengali Authors (most famous among them is Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay) and many of them have been made into famous movies (and recently some Serials) and you will organically accept those stories wholeheartedly.

This yrkkh season to me is a story that started with shiny love but pretty soon the reality of the character differences pushed the love out of the window because the love was shiny but shallow.

Just one note. Is passionate, intense love only for teenagers? Is there no passion in relationships beyond that age? I have seen a lot of relationships, and most of the relationships that last are ones with passion and with nok jhok. My own parents have an arranged marriage, but they fell in love before they got married and have this dynamic where they are very different people. So they argue and get upset, and then makeup again and roothna manna is very much present.

I don't think a "mature" love story means that it lacks passion or fights. It means that people are able to look past their egos and do what's right for their partner. In this, both Abhira failed miserably at some point or other, and I agree Nav has done better. But Ak isn't there in that relationship to that level. She may have loved Nav, but she is still extremely immature and is still in her hate relationship with Abhi. The point is, without passion, there is no love story at all, mature or otherwise.

Moreover, when I say both Abhira have failed, I meant in the context of itv. In real life, no couple has to go through such extreme tests, and they get time to understand and trust each other. Every passionate teenage romance has the potential to evolve into a beautiful mature romance which is what the hope from Abhira was. All Abhira fans wanted was to see them together, becoming the couple they were capable of. Now I am not sure where this is all heading, but I hope they can, as you say, imbibe some maturity in Abhira's love story. I also hope they make it even more passionate and emotional.

I never was invested in abhira love story not in akshnav love story either ..I'm detached with all the characters bec they're too illogical to relate to..yet there were instances where I connected to akshara as a mother and as a wife ...

The track was satisfying to me , although it was poorly executed like all others and had potential like all others...just the fact that akshara was able to move on from her toxic ex in this period of time , she raised abhir away from the toxicity and madness of Birla house , she refused abhims proposal and his mother's too , she clearly identified the problem areas , she appreciated a better person like abhinav and fell in love with him, it satisfies me ..abhin is getting his logical conclusion , thankfully he didn't turn negative or psycho to white wash the ml ...abhir too rejected abhimanyu/ docman ...so yeah. It's all good..

Abhira will move on to their next separation and frankly..idc. they will go down in the history with more separations than Milans😆 they were and they will be memeworthy material like onu prerna of kzk2.

Even I felt that the track was brought in too suddenly 😭.

I would have totally appreciated Abhinav being phased out like Naksh than being deleted.

I am already missing NavIr bond and won't probably get to see it again...

Makers could have shown him dying instead of Akshara being sick... They could have shown him on death bed missing Abhir and Abhir going to meet his papa... Kam se kam that end would have been more inline with... Sab much Nikkeji hai...

How come the smart doctor is not figuring out that abhir must have gone to kasauli ? Instead he is getting Akshara ka FB

I think no one knows that Abhir knows about Ak being sick. So he isn't sure what happened, and even if he is, Abhir is somewhere in the middle so at this point no one actually knows where he is.

Somewhere i agree with you. Teenage love starts with liking, passion but couple do mature i their relationship over time. Some fail due to lack of understanding. Abhira story when it started i wished to see another version of OG Akshara and Naitik relationship. But writers failed immensely. They wanted to bring change, but it did not work. With Akshnav i started liking them more the family they set in. They could have moved ahead with a story with them but may be the market demand is not there. We viewers will stop watching if we do not like what they show. Would also watch the TRP trends to see if Rajan Uncle did a right job.

I had actually mentioned that I am from Bengal in my original comment which got edited for some reason. Yes Sarat Chandra's novels circle around soul love .Wanted to mention that as a reply to the main post (the context got edited ) .
