That's too bold a move for ITV and frankly disgusting IMO too. AFAIR, Akshara in that convo with Suvarna (after Manjiri confrontation) says that she thought about her relationship with Abhinav but both were busy being parents to Abhir and didn't get the time. She mentioned about the night Abhir fell sick as well. There was no mention of 'consoling' Abhinav in any way.

Ah! I have issues with this as well. I wouldn't call it being a good friend. She wants Abhir to have the father figure he deserves, and the Abhir Nav bond strengths her decision of making Nav Abhir's father.

Abhinav decided both the times for the Udaipur trips for Abhir against Akshara's wishes. Abhinav can be a Father figure without all these rights too. Akshara wouldn't give a non friend such a right or decide to make that person a Father figure, IMO. Since there is no love, I will go with what Akshara says - she considers Abhinav as her friend and partner.

Respect, yes, she respects Abhinav and even trusts him and his intentions. So she rarely ever misunderstands him. It's all built over six years of living together as well. But from your own words, there is little emotional or physical intimacy. And that is the basis of this post.

There is a lot of emotional intimacy, all that respect, care, understanding, trust - if it is not emotional intimacy, what is it?. Akshara keeps remembering Kasauli even now when Goenkas know the truth and her relation with Kairav is far better. She is choosing to stay with Abhinav and as there is hardly any physical intimacy, the reason is emotional intimacy.

I think in Kasauli, Akshara was genuinely trying to get comfortable in the relationship and she was taking the initiative only

But after coming to Udaipur I do see change in her behavior. First blurting out relationship truth then when Abhinav comes hurt home no hug nothing. That hand scene also her reaction seemed pretty awkward to me.

And after watching couple of Ghum episodes, I don't trust star plus heroines. Atleast this lady is better than that Sai who dreams only about her ex now. But they made marriage a joke. Sending message to society that when needed marry guy and use him until ex is ready for you with redemption. Such a pathetic way.

Anyways still have little hopes of positivity for Akshnav and waiting for IPL ending to see where it goes.

Don't keep your hopes high...Akshara is a pretending queen...she will flip anytime as and when the situation will permit her...she is just acting with Abhinav...one mistake from Abhinav regarding Abhir she will blame him just like her soul love husband Abhimanyu blamed her and kick him out from her life and will run like Paro to her toxic love

Exactly @snowfally. That's the pt. I was tryin to make in another thread. You've worded it so much better. If everything is being analyzed from the microscope of std. ITV tropes, then a FL initiating physical touch with another man that too to manipulate him or hold him close is shockingly unacceptable. So, for me this theory of Ak using physical contact doesn't make any sense.

Till now there have been several dialogues/scenes of Akshnav being good friends. When Ab demanded Nav to return Ak, he clearly said before being her husband I'm her friend and that's why I'll let her make this decision. Ak clearly called her friendship with Nav the most beautiful relationship of hers. As you mentioned, they share good understanding, trust, respect, deep care n concern with eo. If this isn't good friendship or emotional intimacy idk what it is.

When Ak reads Nav's letter, at that time there was no so-called manipulation from any side. She could've easily pretended to have never read the letter or could've atleast taken some time to review things. But instead she immediately calls Nav & asks to remove ji from their names. That shows she was pretty ok with their relationship moving fwd.

Their journey from discomfort to comfort is also shown. When her hand gets injured & Nav accidentally proceeds to put his arm around her she unconsciously flinches. But now she willingly holds his hand, share same cup, rests on his shoulder or lets him lean on her. If we watch each & everything from the lens of delusion and gratitude, then obviously no dynamics shown post-leap will make sense.

Agreed if they change the narrative tomorrow nothing can be done about that. But till now this is what's been shown.

You are correct …akshara has nothing in her heart for NSAA other than overload of gratitude and that won’t gel with physical intimacy acts hence the discomfort you see on akshara’s face…they need to relieve this character of her misery and end the cameo track ASAP 😅

Writers may have 100 different ways to white wash akshu. They may even show kuch kuch hotha hai sequence where akshu will be ready to sacrifice herself and he gets to know she never liked him and he frees her. Kkhh is still cherished so i don't think ppl will have any issue with this. Except akshnav fans. Jo majorly online hai who don't contribute to trp.

Dekho Trp tho Abhira bhi nahi laayenge otherwise Abhinav, khera or leaps would not have introduced only as producer himself said. They are also popular online only. And Vanraj and Abhinav are not same. Vanraj gave her toxic relationship where as Abhinav only gave her support..

But Harshad is big actor and at the end they have to give his character justice which will happen only with Abhiras reunion so that definitely will happen. And honestly I don't even know how pranali gets best actress award when there are so many good actress's out there. Her acting after confession has never been good. But everyone knows how award works and who only gets come to the function.

Yeah definitely makers can do it 1000 ways your not wrong just feel sad how in every star plus serial they are doing this. Making marriage a joke. But Kya kare if we watch itv we have to accept toxicity and not get emotionally attached to serial or any character.
