Why are Wattpad fanfic authors leaving??

Hellooo,

So I mostly use Wattpad to read fanfictions (there are many awesome works present), especially now that I've mostly stopped watching the show 🙈

I usually Add books to my Wattpad library and wait for them to finish before I start reading them.. Lately, i found that a number of books are unavailable now, and their authors have most likely deleted their accounts... No clue what's happening there, can anyone help??

If they have left Wattpad, what other platform could they be using?? (Honestly I've got zero clue about platforms besides ao3 & fanfic.net, but I don't think they have Indian shows' fanfics)

Total ddp in the show even take away the interest to even think about the story. 😂no motivation to write.

Many pending books ek update karo toh dusre update mangthe hai 😂

No time as life is been hectic now a days unable to even think about anything other than work. 😆

Weekends are only meant to be the time where i find myself free so i prefer doing something else other than typing on laptop. 😆

Did not watch the match today and saw a couple of Tooth Pari on Netflix.

Of course I know you! I've read your works here annd on Wattpad...

You're right, people do often bug the writers a lot for updates, and lack of positive responses can lead to many writers leaving their stories unfinished.

But I'm talking about authors that have deleted their accounts completely...n they had stories that were completed/ being updated (with many chapters) that have also been deleted:(

I started with bp + yrkkh adi and abhi as twins. Sirf 3 chapter likh payi. Baki waisa hi padha hai 😆 i will resume may be next week. Sahir ka maine show dekha nahi hai. 😆 i got to know that hc was part of it after some years it aired. So chod diya 😆

Majorly motivation is the factor. When the show is stuck ppl even loose motivation to write.

I guess since in the show the writers ruined abhira many writers lost interest in yrkkh only i guess. 😊
