Again you are defending Nav when my post is totally not about that. It's just about the general idea they are trying to show which is very unrealistic. I appreciate that Abhi and Nav are friends despite it all, but that doesn't mean I understand it. There are no assumptions here because I am taking stuff about how people feel directly from the show. I am not talking about what will happen or anything. Abhi declared his love for Ak just a few weeks ago. That's not gone, he apologized for what he did but it's never said he doesn't love Ak now. And the whole stuff is emotional lol, how can we not look at it emotionally ?

On the one hand Abhi is sad that he doesn't have the family that Nav has, but he has shown no jealousy, nothing about it. I am trying to understand why this is portrayed like that. Usually a parallel lead and main lead will dislike each other. I like that this is different but I wish they go into it more.

I actually agree with ur pov! With the seriousness of the current track, including Abhir’s health, paternity truth, Arohi Khand, this epsiode is slightly unnecessary bonding sequence that not only doesn’t make sense realistically but seems to written as a filer laughter content. I don’t have a problem with Nav- Abhi relationship, but this over sweet relationship is simply not possible when Abhi declared his undying love for AK just a week back and Nav feeling guilty of hiding Abhir truth. This compartmentalization of feelings is soo not realistic in anyway and that’s not how real relationships however secure one is. If u r guilty of hiding a secret, u cannot face the person let alone drink and dance!!!

Though I liked the episode and some fun sections, What I did not like was Abhir is sick and parents will be leaving to US and here writers showing Abhinav getting drunk and lying on floor. He was always shown responsible dad whose life is Abhir so this was least expected. Also suddenly Abhir is pushed to side and all focus is being shifted on how Abhinav feels Abhimanyu is his father.

Thankfully in next 2 episodes truth will be out and story will progress in right direction.

Yaar itna to maine socha hi nahi. Currently all focus on Abhir paternity truth not his critical condition. Continuity is nothing for tv serial. Ek baar sabko jub pata lag jayega to fir abhir ki condition sub bhool jayenge.

Don't be surprised . Abhir will be fine in no time when they have to show drama over the next issue. When naira can have akshu after 2 kidney transplants and brain tumor , abhir ka hole toh ainvayi theek ho jayega

Why are you defending Nav's position? I have NOTHING against him. My statements are to illustrate the issues between Abhi and Nav, not to insult either of them. At this point, I am not trying to take anyone's side here. Just feel it's a little weird that two people who are supposed to hate/ignore each other are shown as being friends despite it.

If Abhi loves Ak so much, how can he stand Abhinav? Does he forget that this guy is married to the so-called love of his life? If Nav loves Ak so much, how does he tolerate Abhi, who he knows hurt her so much? And the Abhir issue is icing on top of that, Nav wants Abhi to know the truth, even though Abhi will take away Abhir from him ?

My two cents based on what I have understood so far from what is being shown.

In one of the episodes I think Nav had asked Abhi, how come you don’t hate me and Abhi had answered why should he. The reason for this as I understand they both knew each other as individuals first before both found out how they are related. May be this prevented the prejudice that comes along usually in such cases. The hate that someone feels towards the partner of their ex, generally stems from jealousy. Here Abhi has already acknowledged that Nav is better person than him. That is why he doesn’t hate/despise or is jealous towards Nav because he understands that Ak was divorced when she met Nav and fell in love with him, hence he has nothing against Nav. As shown initially, he found it hard to reconcile how Ak quickly/easily forgot the love they shared, but he doesn’t hold that against Nav.

As to why Nav is so comfortable with Abhi, I don’t think his love for Ak is possessive or endearing kind. It’s more of like we live together, we are already married on paper, so why not. Their relationship has always been more about Abhir than themselves. And that is why he doesn’t hate/judge Abhi for his behaviour towards Ak. As Nav had mentioned earlier he hated Abhi before knowing him because he couldn’t understand how a father did not care about his unborn child, but now he knows that Abhi thought his child was dead and not that he didn’t care for the child. And as regards to truth, he is not insecure that Abhi will take Abhir away. He thinks at best Abhi will become part of Abhir’s life. Also I don’t think he feels any guilt for hiding the truth or really wants Abhi to know the truth either (he had enough opportunities to tell Abhi but hasn’t). He has left it all on Ak as he had advised her to tell the truth but she didn’t agree, so his conscious is clear.

Edit - There are not best friends or anything, they are civil to each other when they meet and get along. In this instance too they weren’t seeking each other out to go drink together and have a nice time. They accidentally met each other after being drunk and then all the nautanki.

P.s - I haven’t watched today’s episode but just seen some clips. I found them very funny and welcome light-hearted respite in midst of all the emotionally draining drama.

I like that explanation and agree it's a respite from all the drama. So you think this is just a one-off? Not an indication of their actual friendship?

I love that they are both being mature about the circumstances, but sometimes it just feels like neither one of them loves Ak. All Abhi feels is a loss of the life he could have had, and all Nav feels is responsibility towards his wife and wanting to keep his current family intact. Nav is a great support to Ak, I won't disagree with that. But it's hard for me to digest that someone who really loves her would just be ok with someone else who has hurt her so much and then declared his love for her while she is married with a kid. I have similar or greater issues with Abhi, but what to do? Love in the show has been made of mockery of. Abhi didn't even go to check up on Ak, so how can he love her? As I said, even to watch the show, I am needing to compartmentalize the different incidents.
