you just echoed most of our thoughts today. Never followed lost. Did he marry his wife's sister too?. The groseiest (dont believe this is a word but I hope you get what I mean) thing for me is him marrying his brother's/son's widow and his wife's sister.
I agree Abhir's identity should not be made public, but as Bharathi said, Abhimanyu should know about it so he can never live in peace.
As for custody he has got no case.
- A mother has the right to give father's right to anyone so she prefers once she is divorced(thanks to Ash for this piece of information).
- Akshu is legally married and has given a stable home to Abhir
- Generally unless the mother is incapable of looking after the child or there is imminent danger for the child from his step father custody is always granted to her until such age that a child is able to make his/her own decision.
- Even if it comes to Abhir having to choose, he will choose Akshu and Nav
I want Akshu to make him aware of this and tell him to at least remain loyal to his wife and daughter.
Have you looked at the other thread from zerroo. She has an interesting view about Abrohi agreeing to be in a fake marriage infront of society.
Nah she's not a sister there...just his first love he gave up for his bro but she forever lusted after her Devar and finally got the opening she needed as a surrogate to his child after her hubby died😅
Abhir deserves the peaceful family he has today, there is no need to make Nav negative. Abhir will be directly introduced to new dynamics fake marriage or not, introduced with new relations....what difference it'll make to Abhir if his biological father has moved on when he finds out that ohh ok Docman is my father by blood, except maybe being salty about the whole financial aspect and if these makers can show any empathy then the injustice meted out to Akshu that day...but he doesn't look like a kid that's bothered with such things for now.
A normal person in Abhimanyu's place would just regret their choices and anger issues from past...other than that custody battle like you say is absurd in these circumstances. Why would a child agree for you, unless lured with lies like in Parth and Shefali's case?
The whole reason 🧹 marrying Abhi is messed up is because of the attachment Ruhi has to her poppy & also the fact that the only way out of this whole thing is like Kairav suggests Arohi marrying an entirely new person not related to these dynamics. When all this sacrifice on both ends is done for the kids, why would any truth change the dynamics...the individual kids for whom the choices were made for should remain the primary priority.
Abhi will never be able to hurt or walk away from Ruhi and shouldn't either...he built that bond & he allowed the child to trust in him blindly. Which is why he was better off not feeding lies to her in the form of a marriage for society....is that not the same argument everyone who's pissed at Akshu has against her that she's faking it and one day or another Abhir will start noticing that his parent's are just married on paper. Abhir can survive with the truth that Abhi is his biological father but would he be able to comprehend that Nav is not. Ruhi atleast was shown to understand the dynamics as she grew up with the family, they just undid all that unnecessarily for the sake of TRPs.
And I'm starting to think Ruhi will be as relevant or maybe even more because she's the one all Goenkas and Birlas love to bits as of now. Hate this child vs child thing they have going in from Akshu Aaru time
This was Abhir's story not Ruhi's....no matter how cute she is and that is what pisses me off. Abhir deserved that story without baggage.
Abhir's indifference to the truth is the only redemption Abhimanyu may have now or the fact that he may become his son's professional idol but not a father for a long long time. And Abhi's heart will bleed for this one acceptance...for he himself being the reason for being separated from his own destiny and dream
