Why the obsession still remains?

I still can't get why abhimanyu's love still borders on obsession....even now when he knows how much akshara loves him,he still seems obsessed with making her his....I have several instances that made me feel this way

For instance from the moment he got her love notes,he was like how can I get her back

He clearly knows how adamant he is and yet he somewhat acknowledges it as a trait and goes on Coercing akshara to say yes

If I am not very wrong he hardly gives her any space which might lead to major troubles which easily could have been avoided

I loved akshu how she decided to take some time for d second chance for d relationship

She understood trust is important and now she wants love along with trust

But no makers r hurrying for d confession

I watched yrkkh after a long time and frankly speaking I didn't feel any such thing. In fact I felt he has calmed down and become patient. Akshara said something like I didn't get time to think about your proposal because my mind is busy with other stuff and he was like, ok I'll wait....I don't know maybe I watched this show after long time that's why I felt Abhi different.
