Their inner Shahrukh - OS (Under 500 Words)

Reserving this spot so I'd be forced to post what I'm writing right now.

Kartik was under the impression that to be the Shahrukh Khan, he would have to morph into King Khan's characters. He must absorb Aman Mathur's witty charm, Devdas ki vigour, Don's attitude, etc. But anyone could be Shahrukh, as long as they loved like him. He'd always be grateful to Naira for awakening his inner Deewana. Naira ke pyaar mein, Kartik became Aman, trying to repair the estranged family ties of the Singhania's. Like Raj and Priya, the valleys of Greece enchanted them and gave them some of the most precious moments of their lives. Naira se judaai ka ghum ne usse Devdas banadiya. Aur Naira ki maut ne banadiya usse Gurukul ka Raj Aryan Malhotra. Kartik personified every shade of Shahrukhian love the world would ever see in Naira's love.

Kairav only bore witness to a part of Kaira's story, and he longed to see the rest. To his dismay, the videos and stories only did so much. He couldn't turn back time, but he prayed that he'd see a love story so magical for his sisters. His future Jija Ji's had big shoes to fill - Kartik's and Shahrukh's - but only the best would suffice for his sisters.

Dil ke, badle mein, dil ka nazrana dene

Clad in a Fuschia and black sherwani, Abhimanyu danced his way through the sangeet like a hero. Like Akshu's hero.

Kairav would always be in Abhimanyu's debt for reviving the child in Akshu. The trauma and responsibilities Akshu took over when Sirat Mumma and Papa left forced his baby sister into adulthood. Kairav wanted to be there for his sibling, but he was miles away. Even if he was there, he knew it wouldn't change much. Akshu had to grow up, for if she didn't build her skin so thick, she could've never endured Aaru's hostility and disdain. Even her smiles were a burden on the Goenka's conscience, for they never reached her eyes. Her smiles and kachoris were an effort to cheer those around her. But then Abhimanyu came, and Akshu bloomed. At the mere mention of Abhimanyu's name, Akshu's dimples shined as she blushed and grinned. He pampered her like a goddess, as their parents did. He loved her with the vehemence that only Devdas could. The last time he'd seen such pure, and boundless adoration was in his father. Agar Akshu Naira Maa ki choti sherni thi, toh iss sherni ko bhi uska Shahrukh mil gaya.

"Kairav?" Krish Bhaiya's voice broke Kairav out of his stream of thoughts. "Tumne toh inn dono ki kahaani dekhi na."

Kairav nodded, his eyes locked on the beautiful pair.

"Itne kam samay mein Abhimanyu Akshu se itna pyaar kaise kar sakta hai? Na dosti ka waqt mila, na dating ka period. Toh phir, itni shiddat kaise?"

"Kuch kuch hota hai Bhaiya, hum nahi samjhenge", Kairav said before pulling his elder brother onto the dance floor.

I have no idea what I just wrote. None, whatsoever. All I know is I had an idea that I somehow did a 180 on to turn it into this and that SRK announced his film with Hirani which I'm so excited for. Huge SRK fan, if you couldn't tell lol.

Please be gentle, I don't know how much blunt criticism I can handle with two exams this week.

It was beautiful a very thoughtful story, left me a but teary eyed. Krish's question amazed me how can someone love someone so much in such less time🥰🥰
