Lovely review Hari especially the translation of Pehla Nasha!ππ€
What can I say, it was a filler episode and I think I sort of knew it as I did not watch the episode until an hour ago!π
Liked seeing the families after the tilak, so normal but with hints of what to come. Mahima, Anand, Harsh have completely checked out whereas all the Goenka's are fully invested in this wedding. The tug of war for Akshu has already started and first point to Arohi...but I am annoyed with Akshu... π
Why could she not text Abhi to tell him about the puja? these little things are bugging me now...I think I have enough of the kitschy/kooky couple that is Abhira mainly Akshu! Why cannot they have a proper date? why must Akshu come up with things that are not rooted in reality? (I mean who includes brothers in their first date?icky!!) I think the date was so hyped up that then seeing how once again Akshu did not think of Abhi, included her family and thought he (and us) will be happy with 10min of cringe had me going π². I realise the theme is family but to have it constantly hammered in was making me go ouch.
Anyway let's see what happens tomorrow.π
Btw I found the reference to the gaon people interesting...I believe maybe one of these relatives will let slip the adoption truth if we don't get the flying papers in the shagun taal...or Arohi overhearing...π
Also glad to see that Harsh's bullying beginnings were shown to usπ...he was the proverbial child bully, snatching sweets from defenceless children...that he continued it in adulthood by stealing candy from his wife. Then to nail it further, he ate it with full enjoyment and no guilt whatsoever!π€£ I would have had some respect for Manjari if she had fought Harsh over that rather than giving in so easily!π (yes the analogy is not lost on me but I rather look at it as history lesson to us about Harsh's beginning as a bully!).
