They hardly any scenes in full length! - Page 2

today they had a few wide angles. this one was on screen for .002 seconds and I paused n took the pic to make sure that he is holding her hands.

coz when they zoom and the hand is cut out it looks like his hand is resting on her meh-boobs.

this scene was on screen for almost 30sec.

Yes I noticed so much in today's episode how zoomed in everyone was. I kept saying to myself zoom out a little. All you need is a little bit out and you can still see their facial expressions if that is what you are trying to focus on director sir.

Finally someone pointed this out. The shots have been WAY too zoomed in for so long now. Harshad and Pranali put so much into these scenes, so the least the director can do is make sure that their entire body language is being displayed. Both of them are beautiful, and close shots are great to show emotions, but in so many scenes, we miss out on the other nuances, because literally all we can see is their zoomed in faces... even today when they were sitting on the ledge talking, there were moments when both of them weren't even in the frame together...

Facial expressions are nice but sometimes the actors are doing a lot with their body postures and other actions. Like when Abhi was laying on Akshara's lap. You see her stroke his head. If the shot had been slightly zoomed out you coukd have seen that entire loving gesture. Instead you just suddenly see a hand come into view.

Director and editor need to look at the whole picture. It isn't just about the facial expressions. No movie is zoomed in the entire time. You have all sorts of shots going on.

Is this guy the same director for season 1 and 2?

Someone tell this to RS ...Sometimes it really doesn't looks good with close up shots.

I am beginnign to wonder if it is a stylistic choice. Cause I just checked his instagram and saw some scenes he posted for season 2. Those have a bit better framing. Still a bit too close but not nearly as zoomed in as this season.

I guess he is trying to shoot differently to make season 3 have a different feel? I don't even know what I am saying 😆 Zoomed in all the time is not a good stylistic choice. Just direct it accordingly. The actors and script will do the rest to differentiate.
