Why doesn't abhimanyu propose an alliance formally

I remember abhimanyu taking an arranged marriage proposal for aarohi with his entire family..and asked goenkas for aarohi's hand in marriage formally..goenkas were hesitant a bit but they agreed...so why he can't he do the same with akshara?? What's the issue??

Instead of doing this hide and seek romance and childish stuffs with akshara..abhimanyu should man up a little bit and take his entire birla family to goenkas with a formal apology for the mess and a marriage proposal for akshara..

If goenkas can agree for a loveless marriage for aarohi with a man who claimed to love her elder sister in previous tilak then they can obviously accept the alliance for akshara which is out of love and commitment..

What's wrong in that..?

Abhimanyu is simply wasting time by his immature antics and pissing off goenkas more and more.
