Stop giving Abhi all the credit for Akshu’s courage

Firstly how ❤️❤️❤️❤️ were Abhira today.

I’ve noticed that almost every post in the forum today is giving Abhi credit for what Akshus aid to Arohi today. I might be the line voice here but h disagree.

Abhi standing up for her and then walking away again form her life, this time potentially for ever, finally gave her the courage to admit she loved him in the temple yesterday. But that’s it.

Don’t forget that Akshu is a very smart, confident, intelligent girl. Don’t subconsciously believe the Arohi script. Remember that Akshu has stood up to Arohi before. In a very calm and articulate way, diagnosing exactly what Arohi thinks and making it clear to Arohi why she Akshu is putting up with her behaviour. It js not that Akshu doesn’t know her worth or doesn’t know that Arohi is wrong. It’s that she chooses not to always point it out to Arohi she tk her promise to Sirat.

In fact if anyone gave her more courage it was the fact that at least for once Kairav stood up for her and told Arohi to stop bribing sirat into everything. Akshu needs her family to support her more if we want to see her freed from this in possible burden sirat has imposed on her.

it was also so great to see Abhi use caution and patience. I’ve said this before and I’m saying it again, Abha is like a spoilt child who Manjiri has always given what he wants - you give him what he wants and he will behave. Because he wasn’t getting what he wanted from Akshu, he was throwing tantrums, agreeing to marry other women etc and not generally caring about what was making her refuse. Now that he’s got it, exemplary behaviour and finally we can se him caring about Akshus reasons.

Hmmm... no. Personally, I don't give credit to Abhi. Just like I don't give credit to Akshara for Abhi's restraint and thoughtfulness. Both are strong. Both are stubborn in their own ways. Both fell in love.

Rishta banana aasan hain. Usse thodna usse bhi aasaan. Mushkil hain uss rishte ko nibhana.

Both are realizing the truth of that now and are fighting for their love. They met, they fell in love, they messed up yet couldn't let go of each other. Now they are together but unless they dig their feet in and fight, they will end up either losing each other or their family. And that's what they are doing.

Akshara gets her strength from his unconditional love for her. When she confessed, he said - chalo, bhaagke shaadi karlete hain. But she said nahi. Sab ko manana hain. And he didn't blink or hesitate. Hell...he didn't even let her apologize properly. He agreed. I think that was the turning point for her. When it actually sunk into her that for this guy, she truly was the whole world. She's never had that. Now she has it and doesn't want to lose it. That rearranged her priorities and made her realize she was being stubborn about the wrong thing and for the wrong reason. So she is channeling it now in the right direction.

Abhimanyu gets his restraint and thoughtfulness from her acceptance of her love for him. He had always been open with her. His love for her has never been a secret. And he could see her love for him. He could feel it. He had the evidence of it on multiple occasions. Her lips were saying no but her every action and her eyes every time she looked at him had been a dead giveaway to him. He couldn't understand why she was being so contradictory. He tried all ways - talking to her, pleading, anger, tantrums, hurting himself, hurting her...every damn thing he could think of. Finally succeeded in breaking her and getting her to confess. But it came at a cost when he realized all the blame was dumped on her shoulders - both by her family and his. She was bearing the brunt while he practically got away scot-free. So now he would stand by her and be whatever she needs him to be. If she says, we will have a family pic, he is all set for that. If she says I can't wait, let's run away, I'm sure he would check the fuel tank of his bike.

That's my POV in this.

Agree completely, Akshara inner courage is coming out slowly.

Abhi’s love is the platform that is giving the the courage but it’s all Akshara’s strength evolving.

Akshara comes from a line of strong and courageous women like original Akshara and Naira. She is bound to be like them in the long run.

I especially liked two things. 1. Absolutely no hesitation from Akshara when sees him and realizes he is not a figment of her imagination. Leap and grab him, throw him to the ground and get on top of him (pun intended)

2. HE had to remind her - let's go before someone catches us. Warna she was happily settled in his lap, garland and all bharao-ing his maang.

Oh I am super happy that this confident sure-footed girl has finally found her feet.

i disagree your view about Abhi spoilt child ...No this guy undergone so many mental trauma bcoz of his father shouting at his mother all the time ...his mother crying ...Do u remember last dream of Abhira where he clearly said how he feel himself relieved in music ....Helpless child Abhi was...Akshara tolerated Arohi smiling around singing ..Abhi found peace from father's tantrums becoming more introvert and hearing music ...Abhi always talk to his mother in soft tone bcoz he knows how much hurt his mother is bcoz of his father....

Akshara will grow more stronger or her inner self will raise out bcoz of Abhi ...That courage someone is there for her unconditionally will make her stronger ....

True agree that akshu had given back to aarohi in previous times. She did tell once I can speak back to you but I choose not to because it's like my words hit on a wall you would never understand me.

Now what's the difference.

Back then after all her brave dialogue she goes back saying meri behen meri aaru.

But this time she didn't do it. Instead she made her stand clear and words were even more firm. That's what aarohi had always taken advantage off. No matter whatever akshu does at the end of the day she goes to being aarohi's maid but this time she made her stand clear with her words and no pacifying aarohi was done.

That is the difference and abhi in a way had encouraged her to not give on to aarohi's demands it meant she is giving up on herself which she can't do at this stage.

I get your point and agree with it to an extent.

Although Abhi hasn't gotten Akshara to stand up for herself, he has given her something to stand up for.

Akshara has seen first hand that he will go to any extent for her - stand up against their families and next to her, when needed. And so now, she's taken the helm to do the same.

It's not that she didn't have a voice before, but now she has a reason WHY she should speak up in the first place. She knows that if she says silent, she'll probably lose Abhimanyu, because her family will never accept them. So she has to speak up because she doesn't want to lose someone who loves her so endlessly.

Abhimanyu hasn't given her her wings, but he's definitely the wind beneath them.

Yes..everyone used to make fun of him ke he hides under a blanket and cry for his mom..he gave a proper reasoning for that ..when he was a child and he saw his father screaming and misbehaving , he used to hide inside the blanket and pretend that the world doesn't exist..he cuts himself off whenever he is upset ..in the hospital when akshu had an accident , it was a beautiful reference of noise , as if akshu was calling him for help..abhimanyu does have psychological issues to address.

Yes , abhimanyu has a lot of flaws but he also has a lot of scope to grow . He takes his mother's advise seriously . Akshu has a calming influence on him...I believe they both derive strength from each other ..

akshu always had the habit of ctrl alt del , that's how she dealt with arohi ..it's her defense mechanism....she did the same in yesterday's episode ..yes , she has sometimes shut up aaru n go bk to aaru jaap again ..I hate this habit of hers...will I give credit to abhimanyu for this ? May be..he is someone who she can fall bk upon..he supports her, understands her ..akshu is a strong girl in her own right but she has been suppressed by aaru, plus her love for aaru made her weak. With abhimanyu as an added priority , aaru has been demoted ..😆 So abhi does have a role in whatever happens in her life now..and vice versa..

@Green - I would like to edit this sentence. That had not been the turning point. Post his engagement, when he hurt his hand she said, sab ki ilaaj shaadi hain. Ek baar shaadi hojay, sab teek hojayega. And at that point, she truly believed that. After all, that's what happens, isn't it? People fall in love, it doesn't work out, they break up, marry someone else and learn to move on. They adapt. That's what she thought he'd do too. That he would adapt and soon, she would be a thing of past for him. But her accident and (as much as I cringe to bring in this scene into my mind) the nurse narrating what happened in the OT and how he went into pieces...that was the beginning of change in her thought process. Yeh pyar nahi pagalpan hain. Itna pyar mat karo / koi itna pyar kaise karsakta hain... those had been her words. And in parallel, she watched Arohi, caught on to her thoughts and actions. The culmination of all that led to her standing up for herself and her love.
