It's not a jail. He joins mental assylum thinking Taani had moved on in her life with another guy just by seeing a kid n guy with her in the house (usase pehle he had disappeared maybe some accident or something I don't remember properly... All believes that he's dead). Hence he doesn't want to be a hindrance in Taani's life as she have a new family. But later learns that she still loves only him n Haven't moved on. Then both meet and embrace the new life🤣🤣🤣

P.S: The story was good until 3/4th of the show... Then it went downhill directly 🙄
