Priorities and Mind set!!

The argument Arohi gave today to Bade papa..

about whatever she did was for her studies and Career and

What Akshu did was for a Relationship...

So she is justified and Akshu is not?

Well whats ur point of view on this ?

I have a strong opinion on this shall share once I hear from the forum!!

For arohi aksha has utaring ghat ki izzat wgere arohi was focused on her careers for giving 30 lakhs to some fraud which is not exposed yet 🤣

She is still lying about that exam being a bogus, so when that truth will be out tb what will hapoen to ghr ki izzat?

To do something for your career or for your family relationship neither is more important than the other. I think each hold equal value.

However, it is how Arohi and Akshara went about it.

Arohi's mistake is that she chose to go the easy route. She bribed for a seat instead of submitting an application on time and earning her position by getting selected. She also wanted to use Abhi's social status to push herself up at Birla Hospital by association instead of earning her way.

I am hopeful the scam issue will come to light. Maybe a special investigative report on MD scams by the press. I mean eventually someone is going to ask her so this MD seat you paid for to take the exam when do you start school? Now she either has to admit I didn't get in or she got scammed.

Akshara fault is that she waited too long to say anything and ended up having all this drama happen at the day of her sister's wedding. Now, all the guest know Arohi got stood up. Abhi ran away. And I am sure the media will find out that the reason was because of Akshara. So yes family reputation got marred in public. But her initial intentions was to sacrifice her love so that her sister could get hers. But when Akshara found out Arohi never loved Abhimanyu nor respected him enough to tell him about the MD she wanted to get and flew off on her wedding day to take an exam she (Akshara) knew her sacrifice was a waste.

I thought it was a good point - what Arohi did was not the most considerate thing but it wouldn't have caused the same scandal for the family as what Akshara did. People are much less likely to gossip over a wedding that got canceled because the bride ran off to take an exam than one that got canceled because the bridegroom ran off with the bride's sister🤣

(i interpreted Arohi's outburst a little differently it seems - I thought she was talking about the fall out from her actions vs. Akshara's actions)

As a career-oriented person who would choose my career over love, relationship and whatever else, I can tell you without a doubt that Aarohi's argument is total rubbish.

"I care for my career so I am going to get a degree by lies and bribary" ?? That too an MD. Like bro, this is about people's lives!

It doesn't matter what the reasons are, you do not take shortcuts in a medical profession. She wants to be the best right? Then she has to work for it, study for 3 years and earn that degree, not lie and give money to get a fake one.

Parents / elders - esp in South Asian societies, find it easier to forgive their kid’s mess-ups if the reason behind it is academics. As sad as it sounds, it is a fact in the majority of households. A child getting caught copying in an entrance exam says - I couldn’t handle the pressure and I was so scared of disappointing you. They would be angry and disappointed but accept it faster than a kid saying - I couldn’t live without this guy / girl, I was scared of losing him / her so I ran away to be with him / her.

Reason at the end of it all, I feel, is a simple one - in the first case, the kid says not wanting to disappoint parents is the priority so he / she chose dishonesty over their disappointment. Whereas in the second case, the kid is obviously prioritizing another person over the whole family, their heartbreak and their “izzat”.

Anyway… your question is what is forum’s POV. I will share mine. Neither case is a black and white one. It’s different shades of grey (no pun intended)

Arohi - she did not do it for her studies and career. She did it for her ego. That is a fact. She is merely stating that as a reason - just like the kid in the above example took the easy way out by copying but when questioned says I didn’t want to disappoint my parents by failing. Is it justified? No. But she is in a position to yell because she was lucky enough to get back to her wedding on time. She is the jilted bride.

Akshara - she did not do it to hurt her sister or the family. Hell, she had no intention of any - bhago aur shaadi karo. She did it because she had no bloody choice. If not for the realization that Arohi is on an ego trip with that marriage with Abhi…that he was and would be nothing more than a trophy for her going forward. She probably would have kept quiet and gone on with her sacrifice mindset even then if not for Abhi and his threat of - mein kya karjaunga yeh tum soch bhi nahi sakti. From then on, the situation was out of her hands. Is it justified? No. But it hadn’t been planned either. But she is not in a position to yell because her sister is the jilted bride at the end of the day and her family became the talk of the town because she chose Abhi over her family.

Akshara is too dumb to understand there should be a line in everything and every relation has its own place .You can’t put your sister over your partner/better half/love of life .

Family had never asked Akshara to keep Aarohi above everything since childhood. It was Akshara-sirat’s joint psychology and personal choice to keep Aarohi above everything and everyday chant the mantra that aaru’s happiness is utmost important than any other thing in life! What nonsense! Who needs to speak such line on daily basis to sibling that your happiness is my utmost priority! Agar Aarohi jaisa sibling ho koi bhi itna zyada chipku type Gale padne wala behave nahi karega sibling ke sath!

Akshara is adult still her brain is acting like child who doesn’t understand when she should open her mouth and when to keep mum!

Aarohi is mean to the core since childhood who never liked Akshara and always wanted to live in the bubble that she is the only daughter of kartik and also only favourite daughter too and princess /common girl and what not! Akshara nurtured Aarohi’s selfish attitude and blame game drama in place of shutting her mouth time to time and it’s all because of her and sirat’s joint psychology.

Ofcourse I am seeing Akshara at more fault here who is not behaving as per age and chanting aaru’s happiness above everything mantra everyday and creating mess around her family because of her foolish goal of life !

Here my question is what's more important for Arohi to get Akshara punished or escape being proved wrong..it's common mentality when u r proved wrong..u try to prove that someone's else's mistake is bigger and worse...so that u escape...Arohi has been doing . She got the opportunity to pull Akshara down and she did that to shadow her mistakes!!

Very comprehensively u have summarised their actions!! And ultimately what Abhimanyu said while bade papa scolded Akshara... yesterday..

The seasoning....

Akshara is seasoned to put Arohi before herself and Arohi is seasoned to use Akshara as a sheild for her wrongdoing or a punching bag...the family hasn't told them that none was the right way to deal with things!!..and their dealing with the situation is based on their childhood seasoning!!
