This episode is like the last scene before intermission. Finally you know what the story is about. Why the leads were behaving the way they did and how all the bizarre situations that we were made to sit through wondering where all this is leading to, starts making sense.
Just like on Tilak he declares infront of everyone to Akshara, I love you and I know you love me. So please speak up and stop this confusion. But akshara did not utter a word.
In spite of all the harsh words hurled at him- he kept on asking Akshara to speak up. He asked her what do you think please tell me. I was confessing my love for you at every given opportunity and you know it so why are you quite. When you came to know of this tilak confusion why didn't you clear it. Or why didn't you call me?
He pleaded her to close her eyes and listen to heart and speak up.
This was the day when he had stated that mujhe Abhi bulaane ka Haq sirf kuch logo ko hai.
His parting words on the day were Maine pyar kiya hai, koi galti nahi.
He is so confident and clear that it does not matter to him what he feels about Akshara is said in private or public. In fact the moment he had realized his feelings, he confessed to the Universe loud and clear that he loves Akshara.
Abhimanyu, never doubted her love for him. He is mad at her for denying him her precious love. Abhi goes full throttle and takes what he thinks in rightfully his. On the other hand Akshara never learnt to express her true feelings to anyone. She feels guilty to ask for happiness for herself. And if ever she voiced for anything, Aarohi princess was ready to snatch it from her.
Sirat was a loving mother to Akshara, she knew how sensitive Ak was so she was extra careful and like a loving friend to her. On the other hand Akshara was devoted to her mother. After the death of Sirat, little Akshara lost her protection and Aarohi's accusations made her give away every right to her personal happiness. The family was there and she had her brothers but Arohi's forceful and imposing personality and constant unrest within the family probably made the sensitive Akshara hide her feelings from her grandparents to hurt or toruble anyone was not in her nature. So she started giving in to Aarohi. Hoping that she will understand that she did not kill her mother. But Arohi's wrath and intense dislike for Akshara was unappeasable. The more Ak gave in the more headstrong Aarohi became which ultimately led to Ak force to leave home.
In all of this Ak learnt very well to hide her pain from others. As a child she was soft, cried easily and her emotions could be read on her face. But being away from home taught her, no one was bothered about her tears but she cared about her loved ones and so she will make them happy. If how she feels and what she wants does not matter then whats the point is putting it on display? She learnt to smile and when her heart was too full she would pretend that she needs to be alone with her music and she cried. Then she would wipe her own tears and put a big smile on her face and meet the world.
So for everyone she was the chirpy, bubbly, considerate and helping Akshara which again made Aarohi dislike her more. For who does not like a happy-go-lucky kind of a girl.
And the more she practiced she realized it came easy. Her tears were her own and laughter and smiles for everyone.
This way this girl forgot to listen to her heart's song.
So every time Abhi says close your eyes and listen to your heart she has no idea what that means to her anymore.
She has conditioned herself to listen to what Arohi wants. Because one dying words of her beloved Sirat ma was take care of Arohi.
We dont know much about Abhimanyu's early years, but he is headstrong, stubborn, determined and used to getting his way. At the same time he is considerate of his families wishes, is very well behave man with no bad habits. His family loves and adores him. He is devoted to his mother and intensely dislikes his father. He has no interest in wasting time on things of no value- relationship is one such thing. He is successful, good looking, an academic topper, a top surgeon, partner in Birla Hospital, considered a good catch women through themselves on him. He treats them as inconsequential and has a habit of unseeing them.
He is a heart Surgeon who whenever in confusion listens to his heart. And when he first heard Akshara sing, he had followed his instict and found her bracelet.
Until he heard Akshara's voice, he had never thought about any woman. And when he saw Akshara for the first time he wanted to believe in love at first sight. And since she never left his mind and stayed back in his heart. And he was determined to make her part of his life. He already considered her his life.
She was just about accepting her feelings for Abhi when she came to know about Arohi's feelings for Abhimanyu.
That was the end for her to nurture any thoughts of a relationship with him.
She kept trying to bury her feelings for him for Arohi's sake. But her resolve was finally dwindling... at the engagement ceremony she was hurting but tried to keep a smiling facade.
Abhimanyu had never shown her his normal behavior with other girls. He simply soften his stance with Arohi.
Till his engagement day he held hopes against hope that she will stop the pretense and accept the reality. No one needed to tell him that she was made for him and he was meant only for her. Truly she could feel that too couldn't she?
But she broke his heart when she said that you are marrying my sister, so respect this relationship. His pain, his love, his healing meant nothing to her. So there is nothing more to plead with her. And he realized finally she needs to see what happens when he actually moves on.

All those who complained about Abhi's behaviour- His each action towards Akshara is measured. One mistake he made was the proposal to Arohi.

Because all along what he suspected that she loves him just as much he loves her. But was unnecessarily hurting herself and him. She was getting affected and that is not part of being normal.
We have to see what comes next. Already the spoilers are out and they are extremely sad ones. keeping fingeres crossed for everything to fall in place.
