Abhi's first time...

Yaar, how are Akshu and Abhi so bright-eyed and fresh faced the morning after chugging down a bottle of desi daaru as their first alcoholic beverage when my bheja is still fried from a few cocktails and champagne on NYE (and I'm not even a sanskari teetotaller ladki😆)??

Yesterday's episode cleared up a lot of things for me and I'm not going to make fun of poor Jijaji anymore. It turns out Abhi is a 13 year old in the (fabulous) body of a mature man.

He has NEVER had a drink before (not in college, not in medical school, not in social functions, not to alleviate the pit of despair and frustration that has been his life). He can't even tell the difference between a soft drink and alcohol. Bahut masoom hai yeh banda!

His maa still buys his shirts! That's why they're so tightfitting - in her mind, he is probably still a baccha. Size theek se pata bhi nahi kiya hoga raita mata ne...

He's fixated on the bad 90s Bollywood songs from when he was an actual teenager.

(BTW was some new movie being promoted in a clumsy way in yesterday's episode - it was so weird... but hey maybe now Abhi can update his musical references!)

Bechara Abhi! This is why he has all the social graces and EQ of an awkward teenage boy in love for the first time - no boundaries, lots of emo crying, fighting with daddy, cuddling with mummy, getting into brawls, listening to generic bass-thumping music, being a jerk to the girl he's crushing on, PG13 romantic dreams, inability to handle situations logically and calmly... Notice what game he has in his room - not chess, not backgammon, he has a mini TIC TAC TOE board!

He's a mental adolescent, my friends - shayad koi Freaky Friday situation main phas gaya hoga🤣

Yeh itv hai,yahaan 100 saal soke utho na tab bhi you look as fresh as a daisy🙂And though I don't drink, but I believe Alcohol has a sharp bitter taste right??so how can they not differentiate it from a normal beverage Chalo maan liya apna jijaji is damn sanskaari though sir loves to booze😆But itna akal bhi nahin hai kya ismein to differentiate b/w the two And those shirtsPlss yaar koi dheela dhaale kapde pehnao ladke ko,yeah toh he wears ultra pro max tight shirts or he ghoomoing nangu pungu🤪

It depends, these days there are lot of canned fruit juice-based fizzy alcholic drinks that don't taste typically strong but yeah, you'd expect daaru to have a really strong bitter taste! And good point - the Birlas like their booze...

Kya karein, most days all I watch this show for is the six-packs and the skin tight shirts but sometimes they objectify poor Abhi/HC so much even I feel a bit of sharam😆

haan aur why daily soap pe aisa potray karte hain ki jo log drink krte hain unhe koi judge krega ki yeh accha ladka ya ladki hai...he can smell alcohol from that man ...but can't smell from the bottle nd funny thing is explanation yeh deh rha hai ki mera first time tha...like koi 18 yr boy bol rha ho 🤣bahut funny answer tha

The lauki ka halwa thing... yeah that sounded really strange and yuck till i remembered in the US we have pumpkin pie and zucchini bread🤣

(We love to bajao Abhi because many of us only have eyes for him in this show, the rest of the characters are for most part bad cardboard cutout stereotypes or in the case of Akshu a goodytwo shoes MarySue)

i never drinks but from smell i can tell ki samne wale ne beer pi hai,whiskey or wine...because ppl surround u drinks then u can easily tell that he or she had so nd so ...its a common sense...but abhi behave like a school kid ..confronting infront of his mom nervously 🤣mom thodi si pee li
