Meaning of ABHIRA

Etymologically, he who can cast terror on all sides is called an Abhira. Abhira meaning fearless.

Wow....Isnt it apt for Abhira? Both.are fearless and can do anything for their loved ones....Abhis fearless confession infront of all shows it and still he stands for his love.... Thats our fearless Tiger Abhimanyu....

Now Akshara.....what to say of her? She is equally fearless and can always stand for her loved ones.... Its not due to fear that she takes decisions.....its because of the love she has on her ppl... And the courtroom scene is one more of such kind where it clearly shows her fearlessness.... Our sherni....

In the Padma-puranas and certain literary works, the Abhiras are referred to as belonging to the race of Krishna.[11]

Oh khanaa is an indication of this.... That krishna connection is always there between Abhira..... Thats the first song Abhi heard of Akshu and that made him.run in search of her.... And akshu singing it again during tilak.... When ever she sang Khaana.... Mere Khanaa Abhimanyu was shown .... Her khanaa is Abhimanyu....

After reading your post I could only think this Was it a coincidence or very much intentional thing. Did the makers and writers put so much thought into this.

Surprising everything sync in so I couldn't think it as a coincidence in any way.

Fearless AbhiRa... Well, the way the two characters have been written, it does seem more than apt. Abhi was scared initially, but when he accepted his love, he fears nothing. He is not worried about expressing what he feels.

Akshu doesn't express her love because she wants the happiness of her family, family comes first. And that in no way is a weakness. Because she defends her love and does things for him fearlessly too.

I like the analysis. I had checked wiki about Abhira long ago related to some other research I was doing and you brought the memory back.

Akshara has been singing the song much more than I remember any previous leads.

Akshara sings the song more as a release to her troubles. Everytime she feels stressed she sings this song. Its sooths her, it helps her stay strong and the song she pours her hearts feelings.

More recently she has been singing it as a call from her heart to Abhimanyu. And everytime Akshara is shown singing or thinking of the song Abhimanyu appears for her.

Its simply magical.

O Kanha is not simply a hymn, it has become a life mantra. Its the essence of #AbhiRA

I was thinking the same too today how this song is sung a lot in this season while watching yesterday episode. These makers know how to get our attention with these small things.
