No, so copy and pasting the image via phone doesn't work. That's why you need the image URL ending with .gif so that you can plug it into the image box and then post it.

So for giphy sites, click on share then "Copy GIF link" and it should give you something like this: https://media.giphy.com/media/l1J9yTco40EU5JzTW/giphy.gif

Then you plug that URL into the image box (the second to last icon on the bar above the reply box) and you'll get this:
