Actors or Gossips? Please choose wisely.

The recent news about upcoming leap was distressing, indeed, but with time the gossips and twisted articles are what distressing me more. More than the news of the leap.

I will just make a short list what I believe is going wrong here.

1. RS not complementing MK in recent award show.

I, for a moment, ended up believing this since everyone was talking about this in every social networking platform. I finally saw that Jodi award speech by RS. And I have a question to whoever is talking about how RS didn't mention MK, Did you guys really listen to what RS said? Because I am very clear about what he said. He mentioned "Shivangi and Mohsin" in the very start of his speech. I would suggest you all to please listen him again without having your guns pointed at them.

So don't circulate that he didn't mention. If you have a problem with how he said about Shivangi's hectic schedule, please be specific when you gossip about MK vs. SJ instead of circulating twisted facts.

2. The Tiff between the producer RS and actor MK

I just read an article posted by a certain site in this forum. The audacity with which they write such nonsensical gossips is just pathetically funny. If you get what I am trying to say.

Dude! Think about this. The big producer, experienced one at that, will announce something huge, supposedly just on his whims because he had a tiff last night since he was supposedly ditched at the last moment by his actor!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

3. RS singlehandedly taking the leap decision overnight because.

RS is The producer. He plays with money. He makes money. He challenges with money. He put up his stakes for money. He works for winning that money. That's his job. His career. Do you really think he did it overnight just on whims? Do you really think he just announced it, all singlehandedly, without the methodical reviewing? You really think the writers and creaters and actors had absolutely no clue before the official announcement? Please do ponder.

4. MK is unprofessional and has tantrums.

Do remind me for how long has Mohsin been in this showbiz? For how long he is playing your dear Kartik's Character? And how many times have you heard his stories of being"unprofessional" and having "tantrums" on sets? Pls do tell me, because as far as I remember, from all that I have read and researched, I haven't found a single attention worthy post talking about this ever before.

MK and SJ, being the face of show have given up a lot many things to satisfy the daily entertainment cravings of their viewers.

Now do you want me to remind you the holidays they missed, the festive seasons and quality family times they have compromised with, the social life they have to adjust with just because they are constantly under observation, the health issues they have neglected on. Do you want to be reminded of the recent sick leaves MK barely took even when he had dengue? Do you want to be reminded of the segment where we saw the paracetamol tabs that SJ always have in her bag, coz they never know who may need it to combat the physical pains? Do you want to be reminded of those tired eyes yet smiling faces of our actors, at times, when they give their offscreen segments?

Do you remember the times they are always praised by ALL their colleagues for being positive and hard-working? Do you remember how their closed ones describe them as humble and family oriented? Do you remember how MK SJ not even for once have shown off their popularity in front of anyone!

This is just the few things out of a lot that I have stated. And MK/SJ can still be "unprofessional" or have "tantrums"? Seriously?

5. Kaira and Shivin

Kaira are jeopardized by Shivin because of their supposedly broken relationship? Seriously?

Do you want me to remind you here again, that be it the interview segment of May 2016 or of segments from the recent November 2019, have you ever for once seen Shivin ignoring "Kaira" or faking "Kaira"?

This is one thing that I can very proudly vouch for. SHIVIN LOVES KAIRA. And no one should dare blame Shivin if anything happens to Kaira. Shivin, time and again, always have proven their love for their Kaira, no matter what. The happiness, the proudness they have on their faces when they talk about Kaira, cannot be ignored.

Whatever is the equation between Shivin is shown, whatever the people want to believe, I frankly don't care. I won't call on them for being romantically linked or not. I don't have the right to do say on something it's their very personal life. The actors have given the fandom a fair play ground to play around with, but certain followers tend to overlook the boundaries of the playground they are in. Highly unappreciative, but there are pros and cons to everything. Anyways, back to my take on Shivin.

I adore them. Their offscreen bonding really is worth appreciating. Those behind the scene clippings that are leaked gives me immense satisfaction at times. One can chose what they want to believe but my heart goes out for MK and SJ. These two needs to be protected!

6. Post 5 year leap and the upcoming leap.

I still stand by my opinion that Creatives did a very lazy and bad job here. The attitude they were showing. The story track they were/are writing is bad, no matter what excuses they give. Post the 5 year leap, at times we were told that this track was because of TRPs, at times we were given excuses about how this all is normal in the cliche of a society they live in, at times the whole fandom had to bear the attitude of the CVs because of the backlash they were getting from certain group of viewers through social media. They did all they want, but not once they tried to be apologetic and accepted that their decision was not the right one for the post 5 year leap track. They very reason I'm calling them for their attitude here.

I remember reading a post titled something like the common denominator in this forum by our fellow member. It stated that no matter how diversified the opinions of viewers were one thing that was common is the fact that post leap track was a very poorly written one. That was the exact sentiment that should have been understood by the Creatives and Production.

Frankly speaking, it's true that it's the collective effort of whole team to bring out the show on screen but one cannot not accept that it was Shivin's convincing acting that really kept viewers glued to this claptrap of a track. I personally, already gave up on following this show for some content but just for watching Shivin onscreen. I can go on and on where creatives and producers are wrong with the ongoing tracks and if through the upcoming leap if they actually shut Kaira off, then they surely have taken an easy way out from the mess they have created. To summarize it all,

Of course this is purely my POV, I blame CVs solely here for issues related to the track, and I will put the blame on them but it's also true that they all loved and respected Shivin. Also, I really don't want to see either of Shivin being blamed or gossip-ed for this mess.

I maybe right or maybe wrong on Shivin, I maybe right on my displeasure with CVs And producers but I really don't want anyone to aid the circulating of misconstrued articles.

Guys, I am not policing anybody here. But, I do want the fans / viewers to question themselves whether it's the Actors or just the gossips they supposedly care about. We use all are reasoning mind but how about using logical mind for a change?

I am not saying not to speculate. You should. You have the right too.

Also, I am not saying that one should not gossip. You have the very right to do so, you should if that is what gives you a sense of satisfaction and you should gossip your heart out if that is the dose of daily entertainment you come online for.

But please try not to hype or circulate those click bait articles before verifying them in your head. Think before you do so. Because I believe that those click bait gossiping articles don't deserve the buzz. This really is ruining the hardwork done by your favorite actors.

Fight for your actors but don't fight against them. These actors give up their social life, their leisure time to help you relieve your stress from your daily routine by working their a** off for your daily dose of entertainment, shouldn't we be kind enough to be a tad more careful? For them?

Awesome and much needed post. Fed up of reading speculations that shatter and confuse to a great extent. Thank you for writing this from the bottom of my heart. Agree with you totally.

Good post. I frankly think that this leap is created because the creative team feel it’s needed in the story. They’ve given kaira a tremendous amount of problems ..so how much more can a couple go through..maybe the creatives feel that they really can’t write anything further for kaira and want to give the couple a closure while the show is still doing well. Because kaira as a couple need to live a peaceful happy life now ..they’ve both suffered enough... yes we have Hollywood shows are go on for 10 / 12 years..but Those shows usually have a comedy element to it and the show is not focused on one lead couple ..e.g. “ friends” ...it was a cast of 6 main actors ..so they all had stories ...so even though they showed a progression of the characters lives ...the writers were able to keep audience glued because they focused on the lives of all 6 characters.. But here in yrkkh they’ve kept the focus on kaira only ,..if they had a parallel lead couple like naksh and keerti and the singhanias issues as well...maybe they would have been able to keep the show going with the current cast much longer..

I kind of agree yet disagree with your post. I don't want to begin with the comparison of Indian TV drama with other dramas, coz then I won't be able to stop ranting about all that goes wrong in the ITV Drama world, even today.

I will try to keep it short here.

I rarely watch ITV dramas and I have watched several American and other Asian Dramas, including the ones that has been running for years. True, that American Shows like Friends was successful for a long run because of the comic element to it but I don't agree to one lead couple theory that you stated. I believe content matters. If a content-rich track is well researched and worked upon, there are thousand of situations one can come across over years. Of course it will be a tough job if the genre of a show is limited, but one can always try working on varied genre with just one main lead for years. But then again I agree that it has high chances of losing its charms. And here is where Indian Stories can have an upper hand. The western world are not as rich as Asians and Indians, when it comes to relationship with families, immediate families, extended families. This is a bonus point, ITV Creatives have for themselves here. Like you said about parallel couples along with Kaira. Kaira could have upper hand over contents when compared to a western-world couple as they can have tracks about dealing with different members from their families, dealing with overwhelming society etc etc. But look at what Creatives solely focused (mostly) on, Kaira's misunderstandings, miscommunications, separations, patch up, more misunderstanding and miscommunication.If not for Shivin, Kaira as a couple are a failure. They had good potential to shine and be really really unique, but they were met with the fate of leaps and excuses like cliches of the society.

YRKKH earlier have taken up on various worthy tracks. I dont really know about Akshara-Naitik times, but just Kartik-Naira have had amazing tracks. There were some really good content but I dont know why I felt like majority of those tracks were rushed (excluding the post 5 year leap track, here the track that should have ended urgently is still going on whereas tracks that needed time got hurriedly wrapped up or met with a leap). They brought in so many leaps and miscommunications with realizations further followed by more misunderstandings that the kaira story was losing the convincing and relatable factor. Having many leads in the show could be advantageous to an extent but if the writers are at faults with such faulty tracks, no amount of leads or even famous celebrities could save the downfall. I don't know what majorly went wrong during 2019, but the fact that Kaira came to such a level is really disheartening. I really don't understand how they haven't realized this "mistake" by now, that the track developments is really at fault here. (Or have they?)

Kaira could have grown over years and could have had a worthy story, about how they kept on moving past through hurdles and not to forget the learning from the previous mistakes. With their Character development, their families character development. This fandom could have had a content rich track too. But. but. but.

Shivangi unliked Rajan Shahi’s leap vala post 🙄. Now , i know its foolishness and way to selfish to believe in gossips, but what to do if they themselves are making it way too transparent and obvious that something is really wrong offscreen 😅. The more positive i want to think about the show and the team , the more confusion and negativity they bring 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I swear man, ye eklauta show hai jahan show ke bahar bhi drama hi drama hai 😅. And someone took screenshot of my post on other topic and is trolling me on IG 😂. Main to team Shivin hu bhai 🙏, Shivin nahi hai to team Shivangi and Mohsin, i love them both. That post was in their support only , that person took one particular line and trolling me on insta ... i was like bwahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣
