Let's talk about comparison between Rukmini and Vedika

Rukmini, the princess of Vidarbha was Krishna's first wife and chief queen (Patrani) of Dwarka whereas Vedika is Kartik's second wife that also not as per law. Their marriage is not acceptable as per law of country.

Krishna eloped with Rukmini to save her from getting married to someone she doesn't love whereas Kartik was forced and emotionally blackmailed by his family to get married to Vedika.
