What I wanted from this track

If i am honest, i had actually wanted a memory loss track for a while.. i felt like the show was going all over the place, and frankly i could not understand what the writers wanted to do with the storyline.. i dont think they understood what they wanted with the story either.. i mean.. what was happening 😕

With the entire baby fiasco and the drama, i thought the memory loss would actually give the story a direction but now i just feel that this track has been very underwhelming

Naira was so instantly attracted to Kartik.. i mean, i am sure that she had known for a week max when she fell in love with him.. i mean, how did this even happen? It was so rushed.. and its supposed to be digestable just because they are KaiRa

And i absolutely adore KaiRa.. and thats why i feel like the track deserved to be well written.. give me something concrete, writers.. if you're showing us a memory loss, give us a well baked story.. give some build up.. take a while.. i just think that if they had taken more time with Naira and Siddharth's story, it would've turned out SO much better

And what was the point of introducing Rishabh's character when they didnt do anything substantial with him anyway.. i mean, i so badly wanted Naira to have a friend outside, just so she can talk to him.. doesnt have to be romantic, but yeah..

And i also wanted to see an insecure Kartik.. we saw insecure Naira like, a couple of times in the last 3 months, so i wanted an insecure Kartik too.. but we didnt even get that ache se.. i mean, sure we had a moment before the Shiv Parvati dance but again, it wasnt well thought out or impactful

All in all.. what i'm trying to say is.. i had a lot of expectations from this track.. i had almost stopped watching the show during the entire baby drama but i started watching again because i was intrigued by the track.. but so far it has been so rushed and underwhelming.. everything went so fast, i didnt even digest how Naira fell in love with Kartik when she had basically known him for like a week.. they didnt give the story any time to develop.. and its been kind of disappointing, if i am honest

They needed to build the track up i agree with u on so many levels they rushed things far to much nothing was properly established in the need of fetching more trp they sort of ruined a potentially amazing track a few friends of mine when they heard naira lost her memory actually bought subscriptions to star plus to watch these episodes and imagine how disappointed they must feel after all of this

Also something i think they wanted to do was be different with this track and not make it a total separation but i think a separation was needed...

they could have done so many great things..

Showed kartik letting go of naira because he wants her to not get sick and blames himself

and seeing her with rishab and throwing all of that out of the window and showing him completely oblivious to her falling in love with him

sure naira was cute but they could have done better with this

i loved some of the parts where she leaned into him and he said dont come so close to me i wont be able to stop myself etc...What i would have loved to have seen kartik at some dance show SEEING naira dancing with someone else

and having a major melt down...

rather than making naksh annoying showing him just disinterested in kartik because they dont want to keep rship with him

rather than making him a male suwarna

made keerti annoyed with naira to the point she moved away with the kid

kartik in a jealous rage breaking everything and almost drinking but then them showing us a flash back of naira finding one of his bottles and telling him that she never wants to see him like that... even if shes away from him he must rem that

and showing us cute flash backs of the pregnancy haunting kartik...like naira asking him if he felt the baby kick for the first time their first ultra sound...

Naira having vivid dreams of kartik's voice

kartik finding out rishu loves naira and it pissing him off

Naira's memory loss was not needed . They just did it for an excuse of separating Naira and Karthik.

Now once again not letting Naira know the whole truth is to leave the door open for a separation once again when Naira would recall everything.

They had a lot of scope in this baby swapping track but they preferred to go the usual other telly serial route which is when a lead is wrong ,make other characters more bad so that the leads .Mistake is hidden off.

If it would have been old YRKKH , they would have shown the tension which would arise between the families due to this baby swap and the sadness which would engulf Naira for loss of child , tension between the two families and being cheated by her husband so badly.

Honestly they are not putting any sincere efforts in the tracks as if they don't care anymore. Even today mehndi function was so boring as it has been repeated too many times. Karthik has become a negative character and is an imposter who doesn't care about anyone's needs but his own. Naira is clueless and it hurts me to watch her with those damn heavy earrings.

I don't find her falling in love with him random...she was attracted towards him felt safe with him and fell in love with him..CVs should have prolonged the phase where Naira stayed in shock for days unable to let out her emotions Kartik being there with her...Naira losing her memory and Kartik helping her remember everything instead of hiding things from her...Naira falling in love with the person who call himself her husband...getting insecure even talking to any other girl...feeling safe around him...getting to know about their baby's death and mourning together...this memory loss had much potential if it involved Kaira and Goenkas only...with proper storyline...without Naksh being Suwarna part 2...forcefully trying to separate Kaira without any purpose...
