Manish really broke my heart, but that entire scene was wrecked solely by swarna's cold, bothersome and "I just want this conversation to be over with" stroppy teenage behaviour in reaction to manish being all broken. Manish's words and seeing karthik's behaviour had no affect on her, as she still hasn't come close to seeing she has caused all this by taking naira away from karthik. She's just so selfish to ignore that she is the one who is destroying karthik and all the relationships by making naira a scapegoat for all the problems and tears.

Go to hell selfish swarna. 😡😡😡

She didn't seem to have any concern for her husband's feelings. I wish Manish had given her a reality check too. Everyone needs to protect themselves from her buri nazar.

exactly all she cared about was trying to get everyone against naira by filling their minds with this is all because of naira... and her dialogue about pyar made him weak... i remember when manish was against kaira she was the one going pyar has so much takhat blah blah blah... she was always selfish and only thought/thinks of herself... even now kartik becoming an alcoholic and getting him help wasnt her priority... her priority is still somehow getting revenge on naira by keeping them separate

someone mentioned this in another post... when manish brought shubham up kartik should have realized as well as everyone else that naira wasnt the one who turned shubham to drugs... he made a choice to use drugs just like kartik made a choice to start drinking

what they failed to realize is that they failed as parents because they werent able to pick up on their childrens behaviour... although manish earned brownie points for finally waking up and seeing what kartik has become, swarna is still in her im the best mom zone and my children are never wrong

You are right. Manish said Shubnam had a drug addiction and now Karthik is an alcoholic. (This has not registered with the SM) He is afraid of losing Karthik the way they lost Shubnam. If anything happens to Karthik it would kill his father.

It is really unfortunate that her behavior was tolerated for the last two years. She has brought black clouds in the Goenka home. There has to be a major redemption track.
