never understod..or I missed it but recently started watching the show again cuz I really like the couple Keesh but Everyone has accepted suwarna..whats Kartiks problem? its not like she is some evil step mom

Karthik believes that Suvarna and Manish had an affair, which caused the start of fights in their house between his mother and Manish. Then one day his mother suicided and soon after Manish got married to Suvarna. So I guess that made Karthik feel that his mother was indeed right about something going on between the two. He finds them the reason of his mother's death. Plus if you have seen any flashback then you will find that Karthik was really attached to Manish in his child good, a reason why he hates Suvarna even more is because he think, she has also snatched his father from him.

Why Kirti is okay with Suvarna I don't know. If she knows the actual truth of their mother's suicide or the whole past, why doesn't she say it to Karthik and clear his misunderstandings. Not just Kirti, they have all accepted Suvarna, so maybe there is more to what Karthik knows, so why don't they tell him the entire truth, of any.

Suwarna and Manish were somehow directly or indirectly the reason behind his mother's death. They liked each other before Manish got married to Karthik's mom as KDadi did not get Suwarnish married as Suwarna belonged to low middle class family. After few years Suwarna started working in Manish's office and maybe Karthik's mom knew about their affair before her marriage with Manish so she started doubting them again or their actions made her doubt them. One day she committed suicide maybe due to any misunderstanding.
