I don't think Kartik will actually find out the truth, Akilesh probably 'rescues' Mansi in time but the seeds of doubt has been planted in Kartiks mind.

He'll probably think Akilesh and Mansi are hiding something big but maybe not accidentally killing Akshara big. Theres been too much clues infront of him for him to ignore it now..maybe he might even think Mansi knows something abt the accident but not that she was behind (but i probably doubt that).

I really hope they do something with Kartiks character now and have him follow this situation up, and not have him act like this never happened (like kirti-adi stuff)
