You know the most wonderful thing about Kaira is how they manage to make you feel so many emotions. After making us laugh in the kidnapping episode and thoroughly entertaining us, they managed to make our heart fill with love for them yesterday.
How sweet was their conversation. The way they were both cutely declaring who loved each other more while holding on tightly to each other just made you smile. I loved the symbolism in that scene too. Kartik's dhaaga had dropped off that had been tied by Daadi, but it was Naira who put it tightly back on. It will be Naira who will protect Kartik from all harm.
I said it before on Anu's post and I'm saying it again. Daadi is the unknown factor here. She loves Kartik, that's not in any doubt, but she also is proud of her family and their status. The question is, who or what does she love more.
The scene where Kaira come home and found both their families there was wonderfully done. Kaira came into the house, happily holding hands, because they knew how happy the Singhanias would be to see them, but as soon as they saw the Goenkhas, their hands drew apart instinctively.
And Daadi is clever. She read the situation perfectly. When she thanked Naira for helping Kartik, Manish is surprised because he knew that's not what she was going to say. When he questions her later, she advised him to keep quiet about Kaira's relationship for now, in case they lose Kartik.
With Manish, what you see is what you get. He is open about his dislike for Naira and the Goenkhas because of what they put his son through. But With Daadi, I'm not yet sure. In the pre-cap, Daadi has decided to get Kartk married but it will be interesting to see if she means Naira or someone else.
The dining table scene was really well done to show the contrast between the two families. Sammy has already made a wonderful post on that. The direction on this show is so good.
Before I end, I just want to thank all the girls for advising me to watch Kaira's scenes in Hrishikesh. They are so much fun!
