Yeh Rishta to shoot in Capetown after 10 year leap-TOI

With Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai taking a 10 year leap, the cast and crew will travel to Cape Town for this. The lead couple Naitik (Karan Mehra) and Akshara (Hina Khan) will have a 20-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter post the leap.And the Singhania family will be living in South Africa. We hear producer Rajan Shahi has been on a recce since a month, zeroing in on appropriate locations for the shoot. A source says, " Akshara will shed her sari-clad avatar for Indo-western clothes."

Speculations were rife about the show moving to a new time slot to make way for another show from the same production house. However, we have learnt it will continue to air in its original time slot.

Rajan remained unavailable for comment.

I believe Duggu is 8 yrs old, after 10 yrs he will be 18 not 20 and Niara will be 10yrs not 12, they got that wrong 😆 .

I hope the leap is only 9 yrs, then Duggu will be 17 yrs, I want to see how Naksh deal with the problems related to a teenager. I want to see them as parents of a teenager and not a 20 yr old.

Okay so that means duggu is 10 years at present and naira is just born , so difference between them is 10 years.
So howcome after 10 years , duggu is 20 and naira is 12 leaving 8 years age gap between them. Where are missing 2 years?

Naksh cannot be 10 yrs old, Ananya is 10 yrs old. I believe Naksh is either 8 or 9 yrs old, he is definitely not 10 yrs.
Unless CV's have forgotten the age 😆
