Well, looking at the situation of the forum, I had no choice but to make this post.
I want to first apologize to anyone whose feelings might be hurt, reading this post.
I have been getting PMs for the past few days regarding the continuous bashing happening on the forum. Firstly, thank you for trusting me enough to send those PMs and expect something from me😳 Well, I wanted to say that I am trying my best to get the message conveyed to the people concerned. But it does take time. MODs are, afterall, humans. I have have always said this, and am repeating it.. they have a personal life too!
Yesterday, I noticed, the forum was a mess.. I was not here as I had to prepare for a test.. So I couldn't forward the message to anyone. However, the first thing I did today after coming online was that I gave a detailed account of the bashing taking place to the higher DT.
Action will be taken soon..
In the meanwhile.. Can't we adopt our earlier technique? Which definitely discouraged bashers? The "ignorin", "staying indifferent" one? I remember how we used to control bashing back then.. in October-November!
Infact at that time, we did not even have a CM! But we did manage to stay cool and stop replying to bashers.. didn't we? If we could manage then.. Why not now? And from whatever I have seen.. the current bashers are fans of the show😳 So shouldn't it be easier?
I mean, we can try? In the meantime, let the MODs work out on a permanent solution for the bashing taking place?
Its my humble request to you all, if someone bashes, do not reply back! The bashers get encouraged! Stop replying.. shift to some other thread..OR talk on the same thread, completely ignoring the bash posts!
